“Nice room with good price”
The hotel is located quite near the metro and the airport. The condition of the room was beyond my expectation. There is good value for such a price! I would definitely stay again in this hotel.
“Very pleased with the accommodation”
We got this hotel at a special rate and so it made the trip so much better. Apart from the usual proper, professional service one usually expects these days, I can recommend this hotel on several further points: It is very close to the Metro (underground) station exit, it is only 13 Euros away if you choose to go by taxi from the centre of Madrid, it is 10 minutes away by the Metro from the airport, and about 10 -15 minutes to the centre of Madrid and best of all, you can open the windows as wide as you like and when you do the area is so quiet it won't disturb your sleep. Apart from the lovely hotel, Madrid is a wonderful city, and an extremely vibrant one with loads of contented looking people and loads of festivals and there is a happy party atmosphere almost everywhere and almost all of the time.
“Would definately stay again!”
Everything you could ask for in a city-break!
“Modern hotel, great price & location”
This hotel is only about 50m from the closest metro stop, so very convenient and most attractions are about 20 mins away. Rooms are modern, well equipped, up to 4 star standard. My room was very quiet. The price was excellent for 4-star so I didn't mind that the hotel is not in the city centre. Breakfast buffet is good but only if it is included in your tariff.
“Very convenient location at a Budget price for Madrid”
We had a fantastic time in Madrid and it was partly due to where our hotel was located. We got a tourist pass which gave us unlimited travel on the city's metro system, which was extremely efficient and ran until 2am. The nearest station Alfonso Xlll, was 200 yards to the left as you came out of the station, this was very convenient and meant that we could break our tourist activities into 2 parts with a siesta in between. The hotel was very easy to get to from the airport, it took 30 minutes and just one line change on the metro (you can buy the tourist pass from the airport metro stop). The main attractions can be found near the stations of Sol, Opera and Gran Via. These were only 15 minutes away from the Alfonso Xlll. The free Wi Fi in rooms and reception was a great bonus. I would use this hotel again. The only thing missing for us was a pool, but we were there to explore the city so in that regard it was perfect.
“Great location, great deal, great time”
A business hotel located just a couple of minutes from Alfonso XIII metro - handily located between the airport and city centre. The hotel looks relatively new, the rooms are clean and fully air-conned (important when the weather outside is hitting 40 degrees!). The fridge was stocked with complimentary water every day which were a god-send. The only thing missing from the rooms was a full length miror but other than that, very satisfactory rooms. In the local area to the hotel are cafes, the obligatory McDonalds, small shops and conveniences. The number 9 bus which stops outside the hotel (same side of the road) will take you to Retiro Park in 25mins.
“Decent hotel in the suberbs”
We were looking for a comfortable hotel with decent communications at a reasonable price and this ticked all those boxes. Metro station only 100 meters away. About 15 minutes to central Madrid. Biggest extra was cost of car-parking
“Nice Hotel, Good Location”
This hotel was in a great location and good price. It was only 15-20 mins on the metro from the Airport and the city centre. The nearest station was only about 150 yards away from the hotel so it's really easy to find and get places. The hotel and rooms were well presented and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The standard rooms were not huge in size but were bright with plenty of storage space. The bathroom had a combined bath/shower which had good presure and everything else you would expect from a good hotel (inc hairdryer). The hotel breakfasts were half price when we stayed and were fairly good value at that price. You may get a better and cheaper breakfast elsewhere if it were normal price. I'd recommend eating before 10am though as some of the items do not get replaced much! Overall, I think it is certainly worth staying slightly out of the centre and saving your money for sight-seeing. The hotel is pleasant and very close to the metro station, we had a good time anyway!
“Lovely, clean, would go back!”
Checking in was easy, english spoken. Hotel very modern, clean and cool. Easy to get to by metro from airport. Room was lovely although a bit smaller than used to. Bed comfortable, room service was good. Would use again.
“Very nice hotel in very nice neighborhood”
All perfect; great loction; the only complaint is heating, which did not work for living room and bathroom (on chilly December days).
