I was looking for a straightforward hotel close to the airport, and this one gave me exactly what I wanted. The room was small but it was clean and comfortable and I was able to get to the airport quickly for my early morning flight. I would book this hotel again if I need to stay close to Madrid-Barajas airport again.

We had an overnight layover at the Madrid airport and stayed here for a night. Good service, and location on a street with a number of restaurants and bars that you could walk to. Also breakfast buffet. Room was comfortable. This is a flat 20 Euro cab ride from the airport.

This is a good hotel and the staff for the most part were helpful. The beds are on tge gard side and iur room was a little tight.

Where do I start. Pros---excellent towels. The soap at sink is the same to wash your hair and bathe in shower. The room is past being dated, wall paper peeling and torn. Would never stay there again. Took a walk and apts down the street have bars on windows. Good luck

Location, location and location. The staff was superb. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Wonderful view from the building breakfast area. Very enjoyable.

Nice hotel for overnight stay or next day flight from Madrid. Just one metro stop from either airport terminal. Small room but clean and in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants. An easy two block walk from metro station.

Great location near 'Metro'. You can literally go everywhere. Very convenient and safe. While the property fit out is in excellent condition, it is uncomfortable for large and big people ( It looks like student accommodation, with everything tiny and cheap finishes)

there was a moldy smell in the room there were places where fixes were needed (turn curtain and stuff like that) the water in the shower would drain too slowly

This is a very basic and tiny airport hotel, but it does the job! The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. The hotel is super close to the metro that takes you right to the airport. There are a few restaurants close by and it is very quiet as well. And the breakfast is really good!

Stop over or the night before an early flight
We had a great stay at Hotel Villa De Barajas; highly recommended for a stop over or the night before an early flight. We faced out the back of the hotel, could not find any AC controls we had the window open for comfort. Despite a bar across the alley, we had a very good sleep. Excellent Chacabuco 9-30 Parilla resturant near by for awesome Argentinian grilled meats.

The staff are wonderful
Overall the hotel was very nice, the only flies in the ointment were the rooms are very noisy. External noise is well suppressed but internal noise disturbed me on several occasions. I could even hear the people in the room next to mine unzip and zip up their cases! Also unfortunately the hard floors in the room got dry mopped rather than vacuumed. This meant there were hairs and dust on the floor when I arrived that simply got pushed around the floor rather than removed. These two things were offset by the breakfasts which were very nice and more so by the excellent staff who are the jewel in the crown. Very friendly and so very helpful, they made my first stay in Spain what it was, thoroughly enjoyable.
