We stayed for six nights in a Metro View Room. Mohammed, who checked us in, gave us a nice, spacious room on the 34th floor with a fantastic view of the Empire State Building and the rest of Midtown. Everything was clean and tidy, and the hotel is situated within walking distance of numerous attractions and subway stations, for travelling further afield. We could have, however, done with tea/coffee making facilities, and more shelving in the bathroom.
I have given everything 5/5 as it meet the standards as quoted the only thing I would make people aware of is the air conditioning comes on every 30 mins so make sure you turn this off before going to sleep. Great location would recommend Andrews Coffee Shop on 35th west 7th avenue for breakfast if your on the go but the food in the hotel is very good.
Decent hotel , within walking distance to many attractions , activities , restaurants. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and functional , small , but was OK for what we needed during our 4 day stay. My only complain would probably be the bar area , it was dull and boring , there was no life to it and I am not a drinker. P.S the cookies were DELICIOUS
This place is a find. Very clean, comfortable, well maintained hotel half a block from Penn Station. Free buffet breakfast was quite good and fresh. Hotel front desk staff very friendly and professional at check in and checkout.
I am a fussy person and quiet room with comfortable bed and cleanliness is important as I do not sleep very well. This hotel is fabulous. Not too far from town, close to rail and subway yet the room we were in was wonderfully quiet during the night. The bed was very comfortable. The aircon was quiet enough not to keep me awake which is unusual. The room was lovely and clean and kept that way daily. All the staff we met were lovely, they were polite, courteous and nothing was too much trouble, even the staff in the breakfast area were lovely and would get anything you requested if something had run out. On our second morning at breakfast the hot water flask had run out and I asked for a refill, the girl came over to replace it without a problem and she was very nice, however on her return there was another person waiting for the hot water whom had inadvertently filled their cup with coffee, this person had a rant at the girl when she returned with the newly filled hot water flask but she remained polite and courteous even while this person was moaning. I had arranged for a parcel to be delivered during my stay which was duly taken in at reception without any issues whatsoever, in fact the girl on reception apologised for me having to go to my room to fetch my ID before she would let me have the parcel which was not a problem for me as I would rather have my ID confirmed than any person picking up my package. We loved the rooftop bar, breakfast was a good selection.

"Close to bus station and places we wished to go to"
We found the hotel staff extremely courteous and helpful. Whenever we had questions, or wished to get a taxi, or wanted to find a restaurant, the staff were there immediately with the information we needed. Whenever we wished to have a car pick us up late at night, they had one waiting for us. We were extremely impressed with the service and the condition of the hotel and would recommend it to friends and would definitely stay there again.
