“Would like to stay longer next time...”

We were made very welcome and found the staff courteous and considerate. A place to relax in pleasant surroundings especially after sightseeing. Wonderful views over Bay of Funchal. Food excellent but rather expensive - London prices, perhaps demi pension would be better value. Complementary breakfast very good, especially fresh fruit. Shuttle bus very useful.

“Nice place to stay”

This place definitely deserves such high rating at Tripadvisor. It's cosy and quiet, have polite and patient personell, good kitchen, perfect interior and rich garden. It would be almost perfect, but only if your are older than 50 and seeking for tranquil sort of vacation (IMHO). My only negative remark, that in such high-end place to have an internet acess only in lobbys on the ground and first floor - inadmissibly. Oh, and no working lift (but possibly it's therapeutic measure) :))

Wir haben uns über den besonders guten Service im Hotel und im Restaurant gefreut. Vielseitiges und üppiges Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Trés bon hotel. Personnel trés agréable et serviable. Petits déjeuners trés bien. Superbe jardin. Trés bonne situation au calme et à l'écart de la zone hotelière "béton"

“Wunderschöne Lage”

Tolle "Quinta", der riesige Park und die tolle Aussicht auf Funchal sind uns unvergesslich! Das Essen im Herrenhaus ist sehr gut, in stilvoller Umgebung, jedoch nicht billig ... Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wer jedoch gerne das Meer rauschen hört, ist hier fehl am Platz. Doch der Garten und das Blumenmeer, die Düfte des Gartens entschädigen einen dafür umso mehr.

Traveller's tip

Die Quinta hat zu gewissen Daten "Packages" wo sogar die Abholung am Flughafen inklusive ist.
