Great weeks stay. Breakfast was large and lots of choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. There was a bus stop one minute away to get to the city or other areas and very efficient and reasonable. They run quite late. there is an express bus to Funchal that misses all the little stops that is worth knowing about as it's only 20 minutes. Pool was clean, although not heated so couldn't utilise it as much as I had hoped to, although I imagine most of the year it's not needed. Great views of the planes too. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was close to the local amenities and transport. Hotel was lovely and clean and the hotel library had a beautiful cave with plants. The coffee was awful but there was a nice cafe next door

Really great staff, great location, quite a nice location. They even provided a very-early breakfast for an early flight and took care to receive our luggage after the airline lost it.

We stayed in September and the service was faultless however this time it wasn’t as good. This may have been due to Covid or the time of year but the difference was noticeable. It’s still a lovely, friendly hotel however not the 10/10 it was earlier in the year

Weather was a pleasant 22/23 degrees at the end which is appreciated at this time of year. Hotel was clean and and staff were very helpful. Hotel is 2 min,s walk to the town and its restaurants and bars which were excellent and very inexpensive.

Confortable new hotel with great staff
The hotel is very nice ,location is nice,2 mns walking from the ocean and from some great restaurants and coffees.Very near a highway but room/windows have double glass so its really not noisy , it seems to be new and its confortable and very clean , it has for free, for guests use, parking ,pool and gym... The staff was really very welcoming and helpfull ...Good breakfast with quality ingredients and on the check out day and because i had to leave the hotel at 5am the staff had some food prepared so that i could eat before flying .

The room and bathroom was large and clean. It was quiet and very comfortable. We had good parking the basement, and the breakfast (included with our room) was excellent. It included a wide variety of items - fruits, numerous pastries, omelets or eggs cooked to order, etc. We would definitely stay there again.

Staff are attentive, courteous..well situated. Although not far from motorway it doesn’t detract from stay. Airport close by village it’s self is typical Madeiran plenty of places to eat as well the hotel. Local bus is just over the road as well as the hotel shuttle.all in all excellent hotel. Have stayed here under previous ownership.new make over since and impressed. Check it out

Great hotel near the airport very quiet rooms with modern air conditioning, fantastic showers. The beds were so comfortable. Wonderful friendly staff on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, so much choice of very good quality produce. We would book again.

Relaxing short break.
This hotel was an excellent choice for us. It is a short distance from the airport, but not noisy. It is handy for the local village, which has a good choice of bars, restaurants local facilities and promenade.Funchale is easily reached but we can return to a quiet place that soon feels familiar and relaxing.

Fantastic staff
As our flight from Madeira was cancelled our party of six had to find accommodation quickly. As there were many thousands of stranded passengers we were lucky to find this hotel close to the airport. On arrival the staff couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome. The front desk staff were very efficient and helpful. As we were stuck for several days until we could get a flight they couldn't have been more helpful.

Beste keuze nabij luchthaven
Op 5 min met taxi tot luchthaven. Ondanks ligging toch rustig in kamer. Zeer gezellig dorpje om avond voor terugvlucht rond te lopen / te dineren. Kamer ok, matras wel redelijk slecht. Om 5am werd nog lekker ontbijt voorzien, top gedaan.

O Hotel está bem localizado numa bonita vila e está bem arranjado, no entanto, há detalhes importantes em falha como p.e. os quartos não terem cofre, mini frigorífico nem máquina de café o que é tipico em hoteis de 4 estrelas. Outro aspeto que considero uma falha também é o serviço e variedade do pequeno almoço. Contudo o staff era simpático e o hotel é moderno.

Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel à pieds après 20 minutes de marche en pleine nuit mais le personnel était top. Chambre de belle taille, propre, confortable. Piscine fraîche mais agréable, qui aurait besoin de quelques coups d'épuisette. Le petit déjeuner est juste parfait !
