“Very nice!”
The Grand Lapa is worth the money. It's a very nice place. I like the location. There are lots of little stores and restaurants within walking distance. The main road in front of the hotel is hard to cross however. The Sands is right next door, which is convenient. The pool and spa are great!
“Good hotel for a peaceful night”
If you may wish to have a quiet night for the best rest, Grand Pala Macau should be one of the choices. Because there is no gambling house in this hotel, you will find your stay in this hotel peaceful and confortable in the case that you are not a gambler. Still, it is not quite convenient for you to go to the busy area. Room is clean and service is good that you are having a helping hand when in this hotel.
“Good Old Fashioned Service”
I agree with most previous reviews that this hotel offers excellent service in an elegant environment. Although the rooms are a little dated they are comfortable and spacious. The western restaurant is beautiful, as is the outdoor resort area with pool, spa, waterslide , mini golf etc. My only disappointment is that wifi and computers in the business centre are too expensive and that the location is a little remote (requiring a bit of a walk or cab to most attractions). I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.
“supermanaa”
Hotel location is great but the room is aged and rather small when compared to other newer hotel in Macau. Checking in is VERY slow.
“A perfect getaway”
We knew this would be a nice hotel in a good location, but didn't expect to be greeted by the customer service of an all-inclusive resort. The shuttle van from the ferry harbor was quick and comfortable....An "assistant manager" (more likely, a PR guy, but does it really matter?) greeted us as we checked in at the counter, shook my hand, and offered his personal welcome. Then, we were immediately given an "automatic upgrade" as a first-time visitor; moved to a 15th floor room with views of the water. The room was spotless; fresh fruit and complimentary water were waiting. The king bed was comfortable and the linens high-thread-count; the bathroom was well appointed and modern. Our concierge provided a great dinner recommendation, and booked the table for us. The highlight of the stay, without question, was the breakfast, which I had booked at a small extra fee along with the room. Having stayed at Ritz Carlton hotels and similar places worldwide, I can honestly say this was the best hotel breakfast I'd ever had. Fresh, eclectic, and never-ending, I ran out of room before I'd even tried everything I wanted to taste. That had never happened before. A handwritten letter, slipped under the door, thanked us for our stay, and the manager again approached us as we left to wish us well. We definitely splurged here, but booked the cheapest rooms they offered; we aren't "high rollers" by any means. This is simply a hotel that does it right.
“Swank Hotel, Attentive Staff”
My boyfriend and I traveled to Macau on a visa run from Taiwan. We stayed less than 24 hours. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly, giving us details of local art and science museums within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable with nice toiletries provided in the bathroom. Midday, we snacked in the second floor restaurant where the cocktails were fabulous and the tapas were good. We had supper at the Thai restaurant in the "resort" area which was very good, but not excellent. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of good quality.
“schöner, angenehmer Aufenthalt”
Leider teure Internetgebühren!
