"Hotel is nice and central within walking distances"
The hotel was nice and easy to go to and from our destination, very central to everything.
One down fall was the food. It was terrible! Compared to all the food places we dined at the standards were very low! It was a dissapointing start to the morning. We tried 2 meals over 2 days hoping it was a 1 off, sorry to say we didn't go back for 3rds.
Very friendly and helpful staff.I had a problem unlocking the padlock,on my suitcase, the front desk sent someone within 10 minutes to help. The rooms were clean and lots of room to move about in.Fantastic view over Singapore.
This is my first stay in Clover a the Arts. I chose it mainly because of the art theme, price and location. It did not disappoint! Staff was helpful and friendly, 5 mins walk to mrt, 3 min walk to restaurants, 5 min walk to Boat Quay. Room was extremely clean with the usual in room hotel amenities. Except that it was too small. Toilet / bathroom was just next to bed. I took the studio as I wanted a window. But I would probably go for the superior which is without window as it has a better room set up. Other than that, I'm definitely a returning customer.
We stayed in the room with no windows. The ac worked, the water was hot, free wifi worked from the room, free breakfast buffet was hot and delicious, rooftop had great view of city including Ferris wheel and Marina Sands, and location was 5 min walk to Clark Quay train station. The staff was helpful--they even paid my taxi when I arrived because I had no singapore cash.
You could hear everything that was going on outside in the hallway and in the next room over. The bathroom has the toilet and shower right next to each other so the floor and toilet would get soaked every time we took a shower. The bathroom is a horrible design and the architect should be caned.
I will be staying at this hotel again in the future.
"Great central location with excellent facilities."
We stayed for 5 nights but then extended for one more night. I have been there for conferences and experienced all of the hotel restaurants previously which are amazing. This time we focused on the ourside food and shopping experiences and they were all really close and great. Even the local "stall" food and sitting out with the locals at the Marina area is great and good prices. Everything starts a little later in Singapore but this gives you a chance to sleep in and at your leisure start your eating/shopping experiences which go well into the night.
