The staff was helpful and attentive, and my standard king room was comfortable and quite quiet (despite being on the 1st floor and facing the street). The location was excellent and convenient, especially for arrival and departure from the train station, which is only one block away. Overall, a pleasant, simple and straightforward spot to stay for a business trip.

We had a nice view on the main street, but this also comes with some extra notice in the evening because of the nightlife. The shower is not constructed very well. There is no door, so the air besides the water stream is cold. En in order to stand directly under the water stream, you have to stand on top of the drain.

Staff are all amazingly friendly. Room was very clean and beds were comfy. Looked newly redecorated. Location was excellent. Easy to drop luggage and check in.

A design hotel without design.
A design hotel with very limited design. All furniture in the room was made of dated birch veneer with a 'kiss' poster from Ikea. Bed was comfortable though!

Some rooms are nice, others are awful
During the booking there was an option to choose rooms without daylight; we paid more to get a room with daylight, and the corresponding photos showed a bright room. We were therefore very disappointed to be in a long, poorly laid out room with no daylight to speak off, as the facade at the back of the hotel prevents light coming in: we were basically looking at a grey concrete wall at a meter away from our window, with gaps allowing us to look down on the street, but not see any sky. The poor lay-out was caused by having a bedroom area with tv, narrowing to a corridor which was the bathroom, opening up again in a sitting area - without tv, and hardly any daylight - just awful. One of the guys at the check-in desk was very apologetic, and after 2 nights we could move into a room at the front of the hotel which was much brighter, and they gave us a bottle of wine to make up.

could use a good clean
A bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and general areas such as the lobby and elevator. The location is excellent. We were facing the street and it got a bit noisy at night.

Superb stay
The stay was great and the staff super nice and helpful. We got a room with daylight although we reserved an option without for a cheaper price. The hotel is right next centrallz located next to the Main Station.Thank you so much for the nice stay in Maastricht!

Mentally refreshing hotel
I was defending my dissertation. This was the PERFECT place to mentally prepare. Ask for the round room and the environment will help you mediate right to success. Round bed, round tub. Amazing room! Best part are the wonderfully kind and helpful staff!

While the service was good, not all the rooms have AC and it was boiling in the room and there was no hot water, so the rooms were hot and the shower cold.
