Friendly and helpful welcome. Hotel in old building and reception rooms and bedroom very dark, as was bathroom as lighting was subdued. Bed a little on the hard side. Didn't have breakfast as tables ridiculously close together in dark room where you had to cook your own egg and all for 12 Euros! Location OK if travelling by train but otherwise a little bit of a walk to the main sites on Presqu'ile, where hotel is situated, and Old Lyon. However, we were recommended to eat at Abel, a bouchon in the vicinity, which was fantastic.
