“Excellent Hotel”

A very modern hotel, everything is new and clean. Very comfortable rooms. The restaurant is excellent for breakfast and dinner, although it is a little expensive. The hotel is in the middle of a developing area so there is a lot of building work going on, new office blocks and hotels being constructed. The hotel is next to the J.F.Kennedy Boulevard and there are frequent buses into the main part of the city. The buses are very cheap and I would recommend this rather than driving in and trying to park.

“Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg”

Fairly new hotel, nice decor and atmosphere. We ate dinner at the restaurant and had the full breakfast buffet. Food was great and in the high average cost for a hotel. Skip dessert and opt for sorbet. From an American perspective, European bedding and bath linens always leave much to be desired. No washcloths in the bath and the duvet was extremely heavy. There are no top sheets or lighter weight blanket options. The bedding was the only drawback; we've learned to carry our own washcloths when we travel. The room and bath were clean and in good repair. There is a great deal of construction in the area but there were ample signs to lead us to the free parking at the hotel. We will stay again when in the area.

“Luxembourg”

Beautiful hotel. Caters well to families and serves a great breakfast. Rooms were very nice and clean. The only complaint we had is that it was extremely hard to figure out how to get into the hotel. We had our car and finding the right road that took us into the parking lot was near impossible. But once we got there, we were very satisfied.

“Dull hotel, bad service, at best 3 stars”

As is the case with many accor hotels not welcoming at all, operated like a hostel or civil servant camp with no attention to customer experience or any demands. Would not recommend unless you only want somewhere to sleep and the priceis good.

“The nicest hotel I have stayed in.”

This hotel was superb in all respects. In particular, I appreciated the first-rate comfort, service and Internet access. The hotel is situated outside the city centre, but is close to bus stops.

“Get a back door!”

My only complaint is that the parking lot is located at the back of the hotel with no convenient entrance. You have to bring your bags up a hill and around the side of the hotel to the front door. Also, there is a lot of construction around the front entrance that limits getting in, but should be a temporary problem. Other than that, everything was very nice. The staff were very freindly and the bar and lobby are great. Rooms were clean and modern.

“Clean and comfortable but not good for sightseeing”

The area was having significant building work at the time of our visit, so expect disruption and weekday noise until about Dec 2010. The hotel is a decent business hotel, but not suitable for any evening sightseeing in the city (unless you are willing to drive). Breakfast is expensive unless you pre-book. The rooms are a good size, clean and modern and a good place to get some sleep.

“Convenient and comfortable”

The staff was helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. Finding the entrance was like walking throuh a maze-thanks to the construction but they were upgrading the car park. The surrounding reminded me of a concrete office park. But given the ease of transportation (bus stop is only a few minutes away) and the fact that we got back only to crash for the night, it wasn't a big problem. The room was clean and the service was very good. Breakfast seemed very popular as they put out a good spread.

“Curate's Egg for an hotel”

The reception staff and the room (comfort and cleanliness) were entirely what you would expect in such an hotel, really good. The breakfast and the service at breakfast were pretty awful. So no recommendation if you go B&B but really good if you go Room only! What a shame to fall down on theasy bit.
