“Excellent Service”

Novotel was well situated just a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Hotel staff were extremely welcoming both at Reception and in the breakfast room. We judge a hotel by how quiet the rooms are and this one was excellent despite the hotel being full on the first night. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Luxembourg.

“Nice Hotel”

This is a nice modern hotel with a great breakfast. Coming from the Cayman Islands I could not initially get the room warm enough for my comfort. The staff then brought up a heater and additional blanket. Walking distance to the city centre.

“Good quality rooms but lacking atmosphere”

The hotel is conveniently located insofar as it is between the train station and the old town; however, tourists may prefer to be situated in the old town. The room itself was comfortable, clean and well maintained though a little 'standard' and so lacking in character. The free wifi internet access worked well.

“Well run , clean and accessible”

Attractive, very clean, great food and easily accessible to everything a business person would want. As a tourist I wouwld havea preferred it to be nearer the center of town or what I found to be the center of town. However we were in no way dissatisfied. Loved Luxembourg. The people were so friendly and helpful. The hotel staff was knowledgable and accommodating. Trains ran on time (we took a side trip to Belgium) and were clean. I would use this hotel if I were on business but next time might venture to a more tourist like area hotel closer to sightseeing transportation. All in all,a wonderful experience. +

“Standard accommodation”

This hotel is very conveniently situated half way between the station and the Old Town (Haute Village), being almost on the edge of the Petreusse Valley. Walking distance to everywhere. The room itself was spotless, the shower was excellent and the double sofa bed for our son was good. Having said that, it is a bland hotel and a bland room - stay there for the convenience and the cleanliness, but not the hotel itself or if you want some atmosphere. Room very hot though - made sleeping difficult. It's geared up for business travellers and breakfasts were too expensive for the family on holiday. The immediate area around the hotel is office blocks - no atmosphere there either - but then 5 minutes walk away and you're where you need to be. In summary, standard bland hotel room, spotless, too hot, very conveniently located.

“nice hotel with a good location”

the hotel was equal distance to old city and to the train station. there were three of us to the room, and the unfortunate person on the sofa bed definitely wished it was more comfortable, but overall the room was good. I would recommend the hotel for a pleasant stay in Luxembourg.

“I highly recommend this hotel”

The hotel was a nice surprise. We had a great room with the most comfortable bed. The room was clean and everything was working well. I liked the modern decor. For people who bring a lot of gadgets with them, there were several easily available electrical outlets to use. Although the hotel is not located right in the city center, it only took us less than 15 minutes to walk to the sites. Make sure to eat breakfast there. Their buffet was delicious!

“Not too bad”

The hotel was quite nice and the staff were friendly. It took us about 15 minutes to walk across the lovely bridge to the main part of the city, which was very picturesque. We stayed 2 nights and one of the reasons we chose this hotel was for internet access in the room (however there was some technical problem that meant we were unable to have the internet). There was a computer near Reception, but we found that we had to wait 30+ minutes to use it, which was quite frustrating. At check-in the staff member told us where we should go for breakfast (but failed to tell us that this was not included in our room rate). The breakfast choices were fantastic, and after seeing the bill for 80 Euro at checkout - we wish that we had enjoyed more than just a bowl of cereal for the 2 mornings... My husband and I did not quit get our money's worth on that one!!!
