The lady that work d the counter at as fantastic. Very friendly and courteous. It was a terrific place to stay and within walking distance to everything around the city.

Great experience at the Vauban
Stayed only one night but were impressed with the location, service and breakfast. The lady at the front desk ( from Romania sorry didn’t get her name ) was absolutely delightful and very helpful, particularly with directions 😀 Definitely plan to stay at the Vauban again during our next stay in Luxembourg.

The staff were wonderful and very kind. The only disappointment was the elevator. As a person with a mild disability, having to walk a full flight of stairs to get to the elevator as well as another few stairs to get to the room was very frustrating

Great location
Lovely location right in the heart of the old town. We had a top floor room overlooking the square. Check in/out was easy. All the staff were polite, efficient and helpful. Breakfast is at the restaurant on the ground floor, it's a trayed meal brought to you not a buffet but it's lovely. The walls between the rooms are fairly thin, and the main room doors close with a bang, so you'll need earplugs! Personally I never travel without them. The room was large and and comfortable.

Luxembourg Boutique Hotel
This hotel was in a beautiful location on one of the squares and very close to Christmas markets. I could see Notre Dame Cathedral from my window and loved hearing the bells ring. The staff was so helpful! Breakfast was good. Overnight parking is available in Kneudler or Theater garages nearby.

We had an overnight stay for a morning meeting at the Bierger-Center. Hotel Vauban was the perfect location as it is only a few steps away. The gentleman working the desk was very friendly and offered numerous food recommendations and ideas of what to see while in Luxembourg. Unfortunately our stay was short, but would recommend to anyone looking to stay near the city center.

Location was perfect, right in the centre of town close to everything you may want to see. Clean comfortable room, but I did miss the use of a kettle in the room, and no irons in the room but available from the desk if needed. Breakfast is pleasant continental breakfast but again basic and no options.

We lucked OUT with this hotel! It sits on a large plaza that has recently completed major renovations and the view of the Saturday morning farmers' market was delightful. The Christmas markets are on the plaza behind the hotel, which was fun to see. The hotel is elegantly appointed and the included breakfast was delicious!

For the Christmas markets the hotel is in a great location but the amenities really lack and not that they can control it but lots of homeless around the area begging and when I asked if it was safe I was told just a few blocks down I would pass homeless and drug dealers but normally they don’t bother people unless they need something. It really did not make me feel safe

The hotel is in a good location for exploring downtown Luxembourg and the staff was excellent. My issue was no air conditioning during a heat wave. The staff was great bringing me a fan and trying to accommodate, but the space was just too small for airflow and a guest on the floor kept coughing so badly I asked them to do a wellness check. It was my fault for not noticing no air offered at this hotel. It was also very loud with lots of slamming doors so I did not sleep well. I'm sure the space and accommodation is just fine for a certain type of traveler, but not for me. Most of this may have been the timing, but the small room was just too small. It would be great for a backpacker.

The location of Hotel Vauban in the centre of Luxembourg was very convenient, even when getting the taxi to the front door for my late arrival. However the room however was small and basic. The front desk staff were very helpful offering up their own umbrella so I could walk around the city.

The accommodations were ideal for our family of three. We liked having a kitchen. Lots of restaurant options nearby, and also a store to buy snacks and drinks. We felt like we were in the center of the city, and were able to walk to all the attractions we wished to see. It was loud outside our window, but that's to be expected since we were located above many restaurants and a plaza. There was no air conditioning, but we were able to manage the temperature by keeping the windows open from evening through morning. There was construction going on outside our window, which is of course not the fault of the hotel. What that means long-term is that the plaza right outside the door will be even nicer! We enjoyed our breakfasts in the adjacent restaurant. If we return to Luxembourg, we will stay in Hotel Vauban again.

Location was absolutely wonderful! Restaurants, shopping, museums, points of interest, etc. While they do not provide a specific parking area, there is a parking garage just across the way making it easy to park. We had a fantastic view from our room and loved hearing the church bells chime. Amazing dinner from the seafood restaurant below. Only wish there was air-conditioning in the room- other than that, fantastic!

Great location
Excellent location, easy to find from the bus stop via the airport. Super friendly staff and no issues storing my bag pre check in and at check out. Stayed over a weekend and no noise/disruption from the building work in the square, imagine the views when this is complete are going to be amazing. Room was clean and warm and a very good shower, great when coming in from a cold day sightseeing. Breakfast was really tasty and needed as Sunday morning most cafes were closed.

The hotel was situated in the square and should have been ideal for a day of exploring Luxembourg. Unfortunately the square outside the hotel was a construction site - an eyesore when you stepout of the hotel. My room overlooked the square so all i saw was the construction site. Was woken up at 630 by a truck with flashing lights and its now 8 am - work has been going on since 630 am, trucks with engine on, workers on the site working !! I wanted to have a relaxing break but this isn't it!!

Excellent Hotel in Perfect Location
The hotel is very well situated on the main square (currently under renovation but that was no issue. We stayed in one of the apartments which were in a separate building next to the main hotel. The apartment was lovely, good sized bedroom, living room, small kitchen area and decent bathroom. Kitchen has microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, hobs and oven - along with everything you need to use them. All staff we encountered were friendly and by the end of the stay they knew our breakfast order without needing to ask! The breakfasts are continental and the same each day and very tasty, local apple juice is just sublime. Very close to the central area (seconds to a supermarket to get coffee pods from!) and the shopping district, not far from the old parts of the city either. A very walkable city too!

This property is perfect in terms of location. Do not expect great amenities but the staff is welcoming. If all you want is a place centrally located to spend the night in Luxembourg, this is it. Plenty of restaurants, stores and walkable to bars, sites, etc

The area is very nice. The hotel staff are pleasant. The room was very small and was average at best. No AC which could be an issue in the warmer months. I used a portable fan in the room throughout my stay.

Good little hotel
Hotel is as expected. Quite basic but fine for work trip. Clean & friendly staff. Have to walk up about 10 steps before a lift & then lift is in between bedrooms, so more stairs. Just be aware if couldn’t manage stairs. However the staff offered to help if needed. Construction Work in square outside starts at 7am. Fine for me as I was there for work but would have been good to have been told. Had a small issue with the bedding & it was resolved immediately.
