We've started with the important (yet not so obvious) parts such as upgrades to the elevator and sprinkler systems. Now we are focused on softer elements such as paint, linens & furnishings. We apologize for the difficulty with parking, we do our best to help each guest find parking, limited as it may be due to our location right downtown. We are doing our very best to have it repaired as soon as possible. The replacemet part arrives today. We really hope to have it fully functioning again this evening. Thank you for choosing to stay with us at The Smugglers Cove Inn & for taking the time to leave us feedback. Unfortunately, we are seldom able to offer late checkouts. These are not based on whether we have rooms available but on whether the room you stayed in is booked for the same day. When possible we do try to offer this. Our little town struggles with parking, there is never enough. However, if you stop in front of the Inn and come see us in the reception we will help you find a spot if our parking lot is filled. Welcome back anytime!

We were unfortunately hit with a lightning storm overnight which impacted power for the entirety of Lunenburg and other nearby towns, alongside the nearby fire which started early in the morning we were unable to get power back until the afternoon. As we were not on site when the power was lost we were also not made aware until the morning after. We apologize again for the fridge's power being lost, and the lack of light in the building. We were offering guests coffee with the limited power we could produce but were unfortunately not able to power the entire building. Thank you for staying with us, and apologies again for the inconvenience.
