This is my second stay at this hotel and I love it. The historic rooms (and DO note that not all of them are historic) are great with elegant furniture and perfect contemporary bathrooms. The staff could not possibly be more professional, accommodating and helpful (my last stay the desk clerk called 14 dentists to find me one who wasn't on vacation!). The breakfast buffet is the best in Scandinavia! So, as I say, great. But there's no a/c and two summers now, the rooms have just been intolerably hot. Climate change is of course not their fault and the desk clerk was scurrying to my room with a fan the moment I concluded my call requesting one. But strong as it was, it just couldn't compensate for the outside temperature, so I'd go back anytime at all. Just not uly or August. .
Now one of my favourite hotels. A refurbished train station, but feels completely new. Really good quality materials. Slightly disconcerting checking in on the house phone but worked perfectly. Breakfast a bit limited. Staff were lovely. Would thoroughly recommend.
I recently spent a week at the Lundia and I think it is fantastic. Very good value for money and the free breakfast buffet is great with a really good range of food catering for all tastes. The staff are exceptionally friendly and will help you with anything, they are a real plus. The room was very comfortable and clean and had a nice Swedish design flair. The hotel is located centrally to all the main shopping and tourist areas and there are lots of fantastic restaurants nearby. The food in Lund is some of the best that I have experienced anywhere. I thoroughly recommend Lund as a place to visit and when you are there, the Lundia is a great place to stay.
The staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and modern. You can catch the number 3 bus from the central station anytime and it will take you directly to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
Pleasant hotel, clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean and shiny. Free wi-fi was easy to use. Breakfast was all organic or range-fed with gluten-free and lactose-free choices. Staff were friendly, spoke English, and found solutions to all the questions. They quickly provided electric adapter for my computer, found an iron and ironing board for us to use, and informed us how to get to the nearest park. They had toys for the kids to play with, a croquet set and bicycles to borrow.
