“Friendly and helpful”
This hotel is right opposite the beach in the liveliest part of Viareggio. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
“Great Location, shame about the quality of the rooms.”
An excellent location to explore Viareggio and surrounding areas. The staff were overall helpful and pleasant. The rooms were a showroom for IKEA, with poor quality furniture. The beds were uncomfortable especially for older travelers. Room was too small, we had 3 sharing, and were provided with a bunk-bed and 2 single beds with no room to move around the room. The bathroom was extremely narrow though shower was a decent size. Breakfast was not worth stopping for other than a quick coffee. There are so many places to eat a decent meal, especially if you prefer a hot breakfast. The area itself is fantastic, great beaches, though the local beaches to this hotel are paid beaches. Lots of interesting activities to watch and get involved with in the evenings including catwalk shows, dancers, and restaurants. There are no actual bars in the local area you need to travel either 1k south of the hotel or approx. 2k north along the promenade. I would definitely return but would look at paying more for a more comfortable accommodation. If you want something cheap and are happy with somewhere to just sleep and shower and want to travel on a budget then this is recommended.
“Hotel Liberty - Viareggio”
Abbiamo trovato il bagno sporchissimo, con peli e capelli di chi ci ha preceduto; segnalato alle donne delle pulizie, che non hanno minimamente provveduto. L'aria condizionata non funziona in via permanente: c'è infatti la ventola sul soffitto. Le persiane in camera non si chiudono, facendo passare la luce sin dall'alba. I locali e la mobilia sono vecchi; il servizio e' quello del Bed & Breakfast: servono solo colazione e non pranzo/cena. Il costo è elevato e assolutamente sproporzionato al servizio offerto. Scriverò a FEDERALBERGHI.
