“Dont miss this city before it loose actual amazing situation”

Very nice hotel in a place to visit before it loose is actual amazing situation, very modern restaurants mixing traditional laos and international cuisine

“Charming, well located, friendly service. Wouldn't stay any place else.”

The breakfasts were delicious, but the dinners were fabulous. There is a French chef who has adapted French techniques to Laotian cookig. If I were a billionaire I would fly to LuaingPrabang just to eat in the restaurant.

Area recommendations

The Old City where the French colonial architecture is under UN world Heritage protection. The newer part of the city has no charm what so ever.

What to pack

If you go ther in the cooler months, Nov-Jan, you wil be at a higher elevation than southern Laos so you will need a sweater in the mornings and evenings and when on a river oat. The local people wear heavy jackets and wool hats because they aren't used to the "cold".
