“Can't wait to go back!”

Second time we stayed with ACHAT Passau in the last two years,very satisfied with it ,excellent!

“Isolated on busy street”

The hotel itself was fine--room was clean, service good. Never could get the TV to work. Major problem: it's pretty off the beaten path, hard to find with a car. Turns out you also needed a reservation to eat dinner at their on-site restaurant. Almost didn't get a spot, but thankfully they squeezed us in since there's nothing within walking distance to eat otherwise, and I'd had enough driving/being lost for one day. They cater to groups/tours, and the individual traveler can be shut out. The biggest problem--it was too hot even with heat turned all the way off. After opening the windows to cool off, we discovered that we were also on a very busy corner, with police sirens, etc, going all night. Beds were also very hard.

Area recommendations
Something closer to old town. Driving was very difficult. No parking to be had in the inner city, so if you were parked at a hotel you could walk or take public transportation to see the historic part of town.

“Verkehrsgünstig an der Zufahrtsstraße zu Passau gelegen.”

Modernes Hotel etwas außerhalb. Man erreicht die Innenstadt schnell mit dem nahegelegenen Bus. Bad extrem klein und beengt. Super Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

“Das Hotel liegt ca. 2 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt.”

Die meisten Gäste übernachten für ein oder zwei Tage, denn es ist ein bekanntes Starthotel für die Donau-Radtour von Passau nach Wien. Es liegt in der Nähe von Feuerwehr und DRK-Rettungsdienst, so dass es nachts vorkommen kann, von dem Sirenengeräusch eines Einsatzfahrzeugs geweckt zu werden. Es gibt eine gute Busverbindung zur Innenstadt.

zu wenig Parkplätze, ansonsten ein empfehlenswertes Hotel
