“Awesome boutique hotel.”

Awesome hotel... laid back atmosphere but refined and perfectly kept. Lousa is a small village in the hills south of Coimbra. Beautiful, quiet and extremely relaxing. The hotel is a gem... building, room, pool, restaurant and breakfast..... awesome staff as well. Only spent 1 night because time constraints... we would have stayed a couple more. Staff down to earth and understanding... did everything they could in order for us to have a perfect vacation, and they succeeded

Area recommendations
Sierras with bike, horse or plain hiking. Went in spring/summer... awesome weather,, not that hot because of the height. Lousa small castle in the valley is worth the 10 min car trip... there are several hiking/bike circuits that we did not do but I would have loved to.

“Kleines Top Schlosshotel - super Frühstück”

Auf unserer Reise war dies das tollste Hotel. Es liegt zwar etwas außerhalb und bis nach Coimbra sind es ca. 35 Minuten, aber das Ambiente in dem kleinen Schlosshotel war toll. Viel Liebe zum Detail, die Zimmer im neuen Flügel neu und ein wirklicher 4 Sterne Standard. Das Frühstück morgens war perfekt, alles was das Frühstücksherz begehrt.

“Un buen hotel”

Antiguo palacio restaurado, el servicio es muy atento y las instalaciones del mismo son buenas. El emplazamiento queda algo lejano.

“hotal melia palacio da lousa : un palace très romantique”

Nous avons été très impressionnés par cet hôtel (monument historique du XVIIIè s.) plein de charme. Le cadre est idyllique, plusieurs jardins , un parc, des petits salons où il fait bon se reposer. Le service de l' hôtel est irréprochable . Cet hôtel est également un bon point de départ pour visiter le Portugal grâce à sa situation relativement centrale . Bref , nous avons été séduits .

“Bellissimo palazzo perfettamente recuperato, da non perdere”

Ottimo hotel immerso nella Serra da Lousa a circa 25 km da Coimbra, ideale per chi desidera un punto fermo da cui partire per visitare il centro-nord del Portogallo (indispensabile l'auto) o per chi fa escursioni nei boschi. Pulizia ed ospitalità sono al massimo, camere comode e ricco buffet per la colazione che si consuma su una suggestiva terrazza molto suggestiva. La piscina non è grande e ci aspetterebbe che la terrazza con tavolini, ombrelloni e lettini venisse pulita la mattina presto mentre accade solo in tarda mattinata. Nel complesso un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero eccellente.
