“I would not recommend”
The location, cleanliness of the facility and room is directly related to the low cost of the hotel. The carpet in the room was horribly stained, the bathroom needed work and quite a few tenants appear to live there permanently. You definitely get what you pay for at this hotel.

best deal for the money i ever spent!
“Fine for the Money”
The only real problem we had was that the toilet stuffed up and when we called the front desk they told us to come to get the plunger. They should have fixed the problem- not us, especially since we were in a handicapped room. Everything else was adequate.

service was wonderful. pool and room were clean and well kept. stayed here when going to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, east access to highway and a short 10-15 min drive to the park. will stay here again!
“It was a nice room”
The room was redone and very nice. They neglected to tell us that the hot water was not working correctly so the first day or two we had cold showers. The first night it rained and when that happens the TV sometimes does not work. The staff were accomodating when asked to bring breakfast items out.
“Clean but mediocore”
My boyfriend and I met here to spend a couple days together. The hotel was clean and the continental breakfast pretty decent, but nothing fancy. We asked for extra towels in the evening of our last night and were told they couldn't give us any until morning, pretty bizzarre. We had to walk fairly far for the ice machine since some were broken. If you are self-sufficient this hotel is a good place to stay but if you're looking for a hotel to really take care of you then look elsewhere.
“Best Place to stay in Louisville”
This my second stay at the Chariot Hotel. They have always been very good to me with the things I need. I will never stay anywhere else when I am in town.
“not seemingly ready for business as should be”
i was under the assumpyion that the recreation part of the hotel would be operatable(ie,smimming pool, internet 24 hr acess , and the management seemingly has reduced the office hours and cut the time of office to a minimum so as to also not be ready for the paying customer to be able to eat the advertised contintal breakfast available for the early risers as said hours of 6am to 10 am when i was there i ddnt get the breakfast till almost 9am or not till 10am and was adjusted according to office staff availability needless to say i hope they get the picture to improve the service or regroup management of site
“Will be Back”
I am from Ky and was moving from CT to CA. My husband is in the Military. This was just a stop over for 2 days to see my daughter and husband. Due to my daughter having to have emergency surgery I was there a week. The Hotel I stayed in for the one night was the worst experience I've had in my 17 yrs. of Military life. I found the Chariot Hotel on your sight and booked it for the rest of my stay. The manager there was was great. He understood my problem and was very helpful in making my check in and stay very easy. Thank You Chariot.
