“Super comfortable mattress!”

The air system was a constant sound - not cutting on and off during the night waking me up. I would stay here again! A great value for the money! Biggest negative was the water pressure wasn't consistent.

“Great location for sporting events”

I stayed for 2 nights at this Super 8 while in town to attend a football game at U of L. The location was convenient to the U of L stadium and all of their other sport venues. The hotel was clean. The staff was always friendly. One complaint was that the hallways were noisy when others are walking. Also, there are a few restaurants close by, in addition to Churchill Downs.

Good location, easy access to Highway #65, friendly staff, clean rooms and good prices

“Just what expected”

The walls might as well have been made of rice paper. I could hear conversations from room next to mine, and all voices from the hall way. Some of the air plane traffic sounded as if they were landing on the roof ! The bed was hard, and the pillows were worse.

“Nice hotel for the price and convenient to KEC”

This is the second year that my company has stay at this hotel. For the price and convenience to the Kentucky Exposition Center I have not found anything better. It might be time to replace the mattresses as one side of mine was not comfortable.

“Good location, So so room”

Contrary to other reviews, I found the service great. Marco & Drew were great at the front desk. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. The most frustrating thing was lack of wifi in the room. Had to keep going into the lounge to check email. The grounds were clean and the area felt safe. there were access to a few restaurants close by which made eating easy. The free shuttle to the airport was also appeciated. Overall for the price it is a good place to stay albeit missing a few comforts.

“Loud and dirty.”

It's very loud there between 3 and 6am - UPS airflight... Whole area is loud. Breakfast was terrible - no healthy options. The hotel is dirty and old. Would not recomend this hotel even if it is for free to anyone.

“just needed a place to sleep”

The only place in the hotel that smelled ok was the lobby. Elevator, hallways, stairwells, and room smelled like harsh chemicals and counter acting air fresheners. Comforter and sheets smelled like they were washed in pine sol and sprayed with air fresheners. Room smelled like it hasn't been aired out in quite some time. It was cool to see two toilet paper rolls in the bathroom, but sad that there was only about a quarter roll combined when we checked in. All in all, it was a super 8 and I guess their standards aren't too high. Both my wife and I were in a hurry to leave. Didn't feel comfortable at all.
