“Nice and clean, but a little way to find places to eat”

Very nice and clean hotel and comfortable to stay in, but not easy to find places to eat that is near the hotel, if you don't have a rental car.

“Not too thrilled”

I was quite disappointed by the fact that there was no bathtub in our room and was unaware of this when reserving. The neighborhood was NOT good...actually, it was scary. We had to pay to park my car in the hotel's parking facility and with the price we paid for the room, I think this was awful.

“Awesome place to stay and play! Walking distance to 4th Street Live!”

Staff very courtesy and nice! High quality for a low price. Room is very comfortable and modern. Highly recommend especially if you're looking for a very modern, new and clean place to stay and walking distance to downtown and 4th Street Live. Thank you Expedia.com for locating this hotel as we did not know that it existed.

“Ignorant staff, poor customer service, and blatant lies ruined what would be a gorgeous hotel stay”

We stayed one night - on our way home from Georgia. The staff was very friendly at check-in and gave us all the important information - parking $9/night, no real toddler friendly food within walking distance, pool open until 11pm, and breakfast Sunday served until 11am. Our room was perfect - clean, airy, and spacious. That is where all good things ended. Parking lot was full - desk clerk gave wrong directions to parking. We wasted 10 minutes trying to find the street she told us to go to before going back to be told "OOPS" she gave us the wrong street name. Next was the pool - there were 22 boys in the pool ages 11-15 with 2 adults "supervising" them. The boys were violating all posted rules at the pool but the desk clerk told us she couldn't ask them to leave and security had been having problems with the group all night. The night manager called us later to apologize and to offer us a free night stay in the future (which we have never received) Next morning, we went to breakfast at 1015 - and the food was all gone. Went to the desk and we were told that breakfast ends at 10. I explained that we were told 11 (as were at least 3 other families we talked to) and was basically given the brush off. It took more people complaining and 40 minutes until food was put out for us. The hotel would be great if it could find staff that was competent and polite. You would think in the hospitality industry there would be some hospitality.

GO TO LYNN'S Paradise Cafe - we had as much fun as the girls did and the food was wonderful. I would go back to stay just to visit there again (just at a different hotel this time)

“Beautiful/Comfortable”

Our room was beautiful! Very clean with crisp sheets. I would gladly recommend Springhill Suites to my friends. The location is downtown and within walking distance to everything.

Area recommendations
I would recommend this location to fellow travelers because it's right downtown and close to everything. Concerts by the waterfront, live action right downtown (music).

“Clean, Comfortable Room”

We were just in town for one night, but we really enjoyed our Stay that the Springhill Suites. The room was a nice size and was very clean. The neighborhood was a little rough, but the hotel had great security and the parking was secure. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
