“just average”

Breakfast staff were very rude and not very helpful at all.

Area recommendations

4th street live was vibrant. Ali and Frazier Museums were very good. Louisville Slugger museum was ok. Visitors Centre was closed before 4:00 pm, website claims it to be open later? They also dont export/ship purchases to Australia.hat should be made a lot clearer on the website.

When to go

We went in December and very cold, remember warm clothing. Did not like the parking situation, you had to fold $$ into a slot and push it in with a metal tag hanging down. The carpark surface was in poor repair with potholes and no spot numbers painted on most spots.

Getting there

Even though it is directly adjacent to the airport it could be better advertised or indeed a courtesy bus should be provided . The information gained from the clerk was good. Visitors booth at airport is good idea.

“liked My stay”

I enjoyed the overall look of this hotel and its rooms were very modern and clean. I also like the lounge and restaurant very nice and updated.

“EXCELLENT HOTEL”

Amazing hotel! I spent the night because I had a 6am flight. THe staff were extremely helpful. Asking for the shuttle was extremely easy. Request and the shuttle is there. THe bed was comfortable so could get a good night's rest even though my night was cut short.

Area recommendations

Louisville slugger museum (of course) and Bluegrass Brewing COmpany in downtown Louisville. A local chain called Mark's Feed Store also has local fried fare that you won't find other places. Great prices and great portions.

“Disappointed with breakfast services”

The room was fine, bed was comfortable, clean. Main disappointment was we were attending a conference in the area and the breakfast service was not prepared to handle the number of people. They ran out of complimentary coffee for at least 15 minutes. The line to the Bistro to order even a bagel with cream cheese was also very long and would have take 15 - 20 minutes with only one person taking orders while everyone stood in line. We left to do drive-thru so we could get to the conference. Not very good planning. Just left me with a poor impression.

“Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Airport”

I have travelled a fair amount of the past 6 years and have to trully enjoy the Courtyards. Coffee when you walk in and coffee in the rooms, a simple little thing I love!

Louisville Airport next to the state fair ground, quick and easy access to the rest of the city and airport.

“Always trust a Courtyard Hotel”

We have never been disappointed at a Courtyard by Marriot. This is Louisville Airport vicinity - don't expect scenic; no restaurants near but hotel as nice as always.

“bad customer service experience freom desk clerk”

Hotel staff very rude. Nice clean room but service from desk staff could use some customer service respect classes. There are more hotels nearby, no use staying at one with poor staffing capabilities. Customer service had alot to be desired I was going to book again next month but not now.
