“Loved Fiesta Americana”

This was our first vacation to Cabo San Lucas and we are already planning our second trip back. The Fiesta Americana resort was great. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We selected the Fiesta Americana based on the reviews that we read and everyone was right. You will not be disappointed.

“GraceStay2011”

Although fiesta american is a great resort i owuld stay next time closer to the marina probably Playa Grande or GRand Solomar. The food is very expensive in cabo hence would recomend to stop by walmart on your way from airport to Fiesta americana.

“A four star hotel with 2 star food.”

-great service -awesome grounds and views -food was not up to standards at any of the restaurants. -the $22 usd hamburgers are preformed frozen and processed - at dinner plan on spending $200 for dinner and it will be nothing to write home about. -no swimming on beach -the sand is very rocky and hard to walk on. -stay in town and save money and much better food. Great restaurants in the marina. -food at the Hacienda resort is excellent.

“First Time to Cabo and Definitely Not the Last!”

Hotel personnel were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. This was our first trip to Cabo and will not be our last! Hotel was somewhat secluded from the main tourist area (which is what we were looking for) but still close enough for a 10-15 min drive. Conviniently located near Costo/Walmart. Great place!

“The Fiesta EXCEEDS my Expectations!”

I own a Tiemsahre in Cabo so I travel there often. This resort was outstanding! The rooms were well furnished, clean, well maintained...and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The free breakfast was fresh and exceeded my wifes expectations....tuff to do! Staff was courteous. Grounds were amazing. If you are looking for a great resort that exceeds your expecations without exceeeding your budget you have found it! Book it!!!!

“Very Impressed”

You couldn't ask for better accommodations, it was absolutely beautiful and service was great. The extreme amount of tipping involved was something to watch for, and the food on site was extremely overpriced and just okay.

Area recommendations

Where we stayed was great, we rented a car. They have a shuttle every 15 min. to half hour. Cabo is a fun town to visit, also enjoyed San Jose Del Cabo, and Todo Santos.

What to pack

I am an over packer. But this time I decided to travel light in lieu of the charging of luggage by the airlines. I wore a summer dress with a tank top underneath with leggings on the plane with a jean jacket and slip-on type tennis shoes. So I had a sun dress when needed, a whited tank top which goes with anything, a wrap because in the evening you need one, and my tennis shoes because we wanted to go 4 wheeling. (they are cute tennis shoes that actually look like flats) I brought one pair of sandals, one pair of shorts and one bathing suit., a couple of t-shirts and one pair of capris. I did laundry half way through. It worked because I planned it all very well, instead of just bringing everything I owned, and also Mexico is pretty casual.

“Luxurious and relaxing”

Loved the hotel and you know it's going to be a great hotel the minute you pull into the entrance. The hotel staff greets you with warm towels to freshen up and the lobby is beautiful with a great view of the ocean and pools. The pool area is awesome and the tile work is nice. Towel service is great and the staff is awesome. The beach was private without anyone else there because of rocks protecting it from outsiders. There's nobody there trying to sell you anything. It's a good place to snorkel and swim as the waves are small. The restaurants are great and we mainly ate in the outdoor restaurant and the club lounge. Also liked the gym as you workout with a view of the beach. I've stayed at another Fiesta Americana resort and have had great experiences at all their resorts. Will stay at Fiesta Americana again. Just be ware of the concierge trying to get to you o on a timeshare tour but other then that the hotel was perfect.
