“Great Location”

Not far from Nokia Theatre/Staples Centre. Heaps of restaurants and fast food places around. Great hotel for a reasonable price.

“Good location, happy with the hotel, would stay here again”

Stayed here because of proximity to USC and based on other hotel reviews. They weren't kidding about being close to USC, this hotel is practically on campus. Our room was decent size, comfortable for 4 people. Only complaint was our non-smoking room had an ashtray right outside our door and our neighbor used it endlessly. Easy outdoor parking (underground parking is always a concern as we have a large vehicle); best of all FREE parking! Continental breakfast was minimal, but we had our own food anyway. Nice pool. Neighborhood seemed decent, not run down & scary as with some other places. Would stay here again if visiting this area.

“There's No Place Like The Vagabond Inn - USC”

Along with the wonderful service of the employees and great comfort/cleanliness of the hotel, the location is set right where you want to be in LA. Not only is it only a 1/2 mile away from the USC Campus, but it's also only about 3 miles away from downtown LA. I would highly recommend staying at the Vagabond Inn - USC!

“Will use this motel agian”

I was there for my son's football camp and the location was great. The service there was outstanding!! The comfort of the room was good and quit. Will stay there again! The restaurant on site I give a score of 0.

“Wonderful Hotel from which to access USC campus”

This was our second stay at the Vagabond. This room, at the end of the building, was bigger than our last but both were fine for our group. The front desk staff are always very helpful with directions and information! ALWAYS :) The rooms are clean, it's a quiet and relaxing get-away that is only 5 minutes walk from the USC campus.

“Good budget hotel in nice area”

Service was good and the room was clean and tidy. The hotel is close to lots of eateries, and the little cafe next door is excellent value. Not far from downtown, so excellent location

“would stay again”

The hotel was only given 2 stars but since I only needed it for two nights, I booked it anyway. It's a "motel style" setup, so my 1st impression was that my stay would not be a good one. But my room was clean and it smelled fresh, unlike some hotels I've been in that smell musty. The front staff was friendly & helpful. If you're looking for a Ritz-hotel type stay, this is not it but it's clean and although it's right on a busy street it was very quiet. I would recommend again, as a matter of fact I have to make a return in 2 months & I've already booked this hotel again for that stay.

“Clean, quiet & good location”

Great location, easy to get all over LA. Nice clean room, quiet, good AC. Bigger than normal in-room fridge and microwave. I was glad I stayed there.
