“Decent, Low-Cost Option - Helpful Staff”

This certainly isn't the nicest place I've stayed, but for such a cheap price it was a decent place to lay my head. Older and showing a bit of wear, it was clean and everything worked. I don't expect much more than that for bargain prices anywhere in the LA area. The staff was courteous and helpful. The jacuzzi was clean and hot! We actually chose this hotel because it was the only place at that price that had a jacuzzi. The pool looked lean, too.We stayed 2 nights and aside from some fairly thin walls, which didn't keep us from sleeping or anything, we were satisfied with our stay. Don't expect caviar for Taco Bell prices and you should probably be satisfied too.

“"When on a budget"”

When on a budget; which we were; this hotel worked out just fine. The only thing that I did not like was the room seemed to the humid. Overall clean rooms and premises.

“Unclean, overrated and disgusting”

The carpet was old and smelly. Someone definitely smoked in our non-smoking room. We had to keep our windows opens through the night to get that smell out. This is overrated and over priced for what you get. The breakfast was disgusting with no place to sit in the lobby. Avoid at all cost.

“very old and shabby hotel”

While visiting Pasadena was a blast, the poor choice of hotels....Travel Lodge rather tainted the visit. It is a very old & tired property. Not at all worth 2 1/2 stars Expedia gave it.

“Bad cancelation policy and not nie place.”

Bad cancellation policy , horrible customer service, and not very clean or nice place.

“DO NOT STAY HERE”

I've stayed at better places for cheaper prices. This place was unclean, bathroom had bugs and the walls are SO thin you can hear the TV next door. In fact, it was so bad that we left after one night although we had booked two nights. DO NOT STAY HERE under any circumstances.

“Good, basic hotel”

We needed a place to stay while visiting our son and his family and this fit the bill. Nothing fancy, but the room was comfortable and even had a fridge and microwave which meant we could eat breakfast in the room. They provided a free continental breakfast, but I need more than that. The pool looked OK and there was a hot tub, but we didn't take advantage of either. We're going back there again in a couple of days on our way back through from the other son.

Downtown area. Lots of shops, restaurants, and very safe.
