“Good deal in Torrance”

This Travelodge is hard to beat for the price. We spent our days out and about with our cousin and our room was clean and comfortable for sleeping. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This place was ok. Please take into consideration that I am not accustomed to staying at "motels". All of my travel is work/vacation related, and I tend to stay at places with nicer accomodations. However, this was a quick trip, and I needed something inexpensive. They put me in a smoking room, when I had requested non-smoking. When I asked for a new room, they told that my reservation through Expedia stated that I requested a smoking room. I double checked my reservation, and confirmed that it was for a non-smoking room. They weren't able to move us the first night, because the rooms were all booked. I had to wake up early the next the day to move into a non-smoking room. That wasn't great, considering, I didn't get into town until 4AM. The non-smoking room was pretty clean, although the light was really ugly. The Iron in the room was broke. That wouldn't have been such a big deal, if we weren't in such a hurry (as a result of having to change rooms). In the future, I hope my budget allows better accomodations, but the place wasn't bad & it wasn't dirty. If I was in a financial pinch again, I'd consider staying there.

“Nice hotel for the price”

I was just there over the weekend and while the room may be nice its very loud when your in your room, It was hard from me to sleep because you can hear the cars going by or people out front talking. You get what you pay for and I should of paid a little bit more and stayed at the courtyard marriot a couple blocks away. Service was good, I orignally booked a non smoking room but they gave me a smoking room but I was able to change it without any problems.

we liked our room and my son had a good time in the pool. we liked the service for morning breakfast and both check in and out were very fast.

“Ok stay”

Place is older, but kept up well. Owners obviously trying very much to create a decent place to stay. Pretty clean, quiet, didn't hear anyone else although from parking lot seemed fairly full. People at front desk both am and pm were extremely nice and accomodating, genuinely interested in insuring you have a good stay and to have your repeat business. Bed OK, fairly comfortable, slept fine. Neighborhood not the best, but not the worst. There are food places and banks nearby go to Torrance Blvd for all that. Far enough from freeway to not hear traffic all night. All in all OK value. Heads up that if you have special request you need to call place directly --their computer does not show any special requests written on your expedia reservation regarding room except smoking pref. They did take care of my request at front desk, but hassle to initally be assigned a room in undesired location.

Most importantly, the staff was extremely helpful and willing to make your stay pleasant. The room, though older, was always extremely clean and taken care of each night. Breakfast was not extravagant, but always good.

This was a good place to sleep while visiting friends in Torrance. The staff at front desk was very responsive and friendly. Mentioned when leaving that there seemed to be mold growing in the bathroom ceiling corners, despite strong fan. The front desk seemed very concerned.
