“Going back for sure”

Location is the best. One street from venice beach by walking. Free breakfeast and Internet. Also a computer and a printer at the lobby. Very quiet location and not much of traffic since my room was on the street side. But parking is 7$ per night. There is a market store right next to hotel to purchase anything and very cheap. Even though I had the suite, to room was kinda of small, especially the bathroom. It was the cheapest price even if I thought it was expensive for the room.

Area recommendations

I would recommended Venice beach for sure. It's only one street away and 2 mins walking.

“Quiet 2 blocks from Beach and pier (surfing!)”

Enjoyed the location, especially, which is two blocks from the Washington St. pier, where there's a Starbucks and 5 or 6 really nice (casual) resteraunts. The hustle and bustle of the main Venice Beach crowd is about a 10 minute walk down the beach, and the lovely Venice Beach canals are just a block away. The room we had was on the street, so it was a bit noisy at times, but I'm sure I would have rated higher on comfort had we had one of the numerous rooms not on the street.

Area recommendations

The drive down the beach all the way from Malibu, around RPV to Long Beach is very interesting. You're not always on the beach, and you see a lot of crowded little cities, but there are lots of interesting businesses, cool people, beautiful views, amazing homes, etc.

“Unpretentious, great location”

A wee bit overpriced for what it is, it does need renovation. The staff is extremely courteous. Breakfast included, a rarity these days. Parking used to be free, now it's $7 a night. The rooms are a bit dark, but the ones turned towards the back garden are very quiet. The location is totally ace, on Venice, with Marina del Rey literally facing you across the road. So you're out of the Santa Monica 'fat wallets' buzz but close enough (Main St Santa Monica is a 3-minute drive) to enjoy its perks. If it was a bit cheaper I'd be a regular.

“Great value for money in a great location”

This is great value... Hotel is small and well maintained and very clean. If you want to be in Venice Beach, then this is a great location... Good value parking and you can get anywhere in LA pretty quickly from here... This is a really easy going place to stay.

“Good”

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and had a large room at the back that was quiet (you could hear the ocean some mornings). My room proved quite popular with other guests with one attempted access and on my final night they actually managed to get in (they're room was next door). I didn't have breakfast but grabbed a coffee instead from the Cow's End Cafe which is popular even at seven in the morning. You can have coffee.at the cafe and sit outside or walk down to the pier and watch the surfers though it could be quite cool in the early morning (it was November). A good walk is from Venice pier to Santa Monica pier or rent a bike as many people do and there are plenty of places to eat along the way.

“serves the purpose”

I was looking for a place on the beach convenient to the airport and not too expensive. This was a good choice. The people who work here are wonderfully kind and eager to please. the walk to the beach was just long enough to get the airplane kinks out and I found plenty of nice restaurants.

“The Inn at Venice Beach- nice digs at a nice price”

I really enjoyed my brief stay. The hospitality is genuine. It's near the beach, near Abbot Kinney, and has a wonderful central courtyard where breakfast is served. Choose an inside room to avoid street noise, but you will like it.
