“overalll excellent”

my ONLY disappointment was the lobby bar at happy hour, a bit unwelcoming in its space and really basic nibbles - I do think a few little bites would go a long way for goodwill!

“We loved the hotel!”

We loved the hotel and the staff is fabulous. The location is perfect. The rooms are clean and very big. Love the huge television, that was a nice feature. I love the palm trees on the grounds at night all lit up, adorable. The only area that I would recommend improving are the beds, they are a little firm for my taste but some people like that. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend to a friend. Thank you for making my vacation comfortable and convenient! :) Adrianne

“great for all”

we stayed here in late may/early june new owners were remodeling they fixed every thing we asked for including buying a showher chair . we just stayed again in oct they have done a fantastic job .their restaurante next door is superb ,very tasty and healthy eating,extremely friendly,close to metro

“Dixie Hollywood. Charming little place to stay!”

At first, reading the reviews on expedia, I was a slightly nervous to book to stay at the Dixie Hollywood, however because the hotel had been recently refurbished and was within my budget, I decided to give the accommodation a try. All I have to say is wow! I arrived as a single parent staying with my 12 year old son and we were both pleasantly delighted with our room. We were placed in a room downstairs, close to the reception and at no point did we feel in anyway unsafe or insecure. The room was clean and you could see it had been recently painted with a hollywood style theme which was absolutely cute. Free parking was also an added bonus and being able to park right by our room was great! The wifi wasnt the strongest but it was always available which was also a bonus and having cable tv made our first evening really comfortable. As we were so tired after the flight. Being so close to attractions also made this an ideal place to stay. If you havent hired a car, the metro subway is only steps away. I loved how we were conveniently located across from starbucks. I would definetly stay here again and would recommend to my friends and family that if they are looking for somewhere to stay in Hollywood that doesnt break the bank, this is the ideal place. Remember, if you want 5 star you have to be willing to pay for it, but if you're looking for somewhere to sleep thats clean, comfortable and in a way, charming! I highly recommend the Dixie Hollywood. Leisha

“Nice quiet clean and resonably priced.”

Nicely renovated small Motel, Very clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and answered lots of questions about the area in a friendly manner. Next to Metro station on Hollywood Blvd.

“Cool Calm and Comfortable!!!”

Awesome!!! Front desk staff was very welcoming when I came in. Felt like had I lived in LA we would all have been good friends. Rooms were cool, clean and comfortable. Hallways upstairs can get noisy at times with foot traffic, but it is what it is. No big deal. Super awesome location! Ralphs, Starbucks, Jamba Juice & CVS across the street. Metro Station is right next door!

The breakfast room is too small and was very crowded and breakfast ends early at 9:00, Other than that the hotel was good and clean.
