“The Manager was very friendly, made accomodations as we requested”

The Manager was very friendly and outgoing he made accomodations to keep us in the same room when we requested another day. He gave us great directions to get to the hotel and made an effort to get us in our room a little early since he knew we had been traveling from Texas. Pool and jacuzzi where fun, too!

“Not Impressed”

Wasn't up to the Super 8 standards we've enjoyed before. Worn property in need of updates and deep cleaning/maintenance. Musty, very basic over night accomodations. Aked for an extra bath towel, appered to be a hardship for the "service person". Front desk person said "it would mess up the count"... Couldn't even procure a restaurant reccomendation from the front desk. Was given the local travel brochure to puruse.

“Treated Well, Great Bargain”

Super 8 was a great place to stay. I searched over 2 hours on the net to find a bargain. Sometimes you get what you pay for. The previous reviews helped make my decision. All staff were courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable. We've paid a lot more in the past for bad hotels. We have no complaints for Super 8 and intend to come back. Edwin was an awesome manager! Customer service goes a long way!

“Cheap but suprisingly good”

I travel to LA regularly with my business . I usually stay in hotels twice the price but this time stayed at the Long Beach Super 8 . Was pleasantly suprised . The internet connection was excellent , the shops are walking distance , easy to locate and it ticked all the right boxes . The staff were great and super helpful also . Will be staying there next time I'm in that part of the USA .

“Was expecting a little better”

I made the reservation based on the positive reviews but I was really disappointed once I got to the hotel. Lumpy pillows, a really strong smell from the chemical they used to clean the carpet, kept me up all night. The decor in the room looked very dated, needs a remodel. People at the front desk is very friendly. Breakfast was good and had a good variety . Convenient location to Queen Mary Port. Price was O.K. I wish they would consider to update the rooms a little, even if they have to charge a little more. Overall an O.K. experience, I was just expecting a little better.

Very impressed with the friendly, helpful staff. Loved the spacious, quiet room. The breakfast included daily is ample and very good. I will stay here again.

“No complaints”

I stayed here for one night this last weekend, and everything was great. The young man at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We told him we might be checking out pretty early in the morning and he offered to have breakfast out a hour early if we needed it. When we got there in the evening, they had snacks in the lobby for guests to relax and watch TV. The room was clean and quiet. There was also a security door that we had to put our key in to enter the corridor to the rooms which was nice. The continental breakfast was really the best i've ever seen. They had many different kinds of cereal, make your own waffle station, bagels, fruit and muffins. Also coffee, flavored creamers, all kinds of tea and juice. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to Long Beach.
