“Jack I.”
Excellent value for the money in a very expensive town for hotels. Not super luxury but a very good deal. Clean and confortable. Room was very nice. Very good bed and beding. Room was much nicer then lobby (which is usually the other way around). Free valet parking which is very hard to find at any hotel in Lala Land.
“Pleasant surprise”
We'd been leery based on some other reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. We were able to check in before 3 p.m., got a very quiet room on the back of the hotel, and enjoyed the outdoor hot tub that afternoon. Pool is unheated, so not usable in November, but we found the hot tub adequate (could have been hotter). Staff were all polite and friendly. Hotel was very clean. Walked to dinner at Niko's Pizza on 6th Street and had a great meal -- prompt service, very fresh salad, and excellent pizza offerings. Be careful walking about after dark, though; we kept to well-lit streets. Next day we took the hotel's free shuttle to the cruise dock, only a few minutes away. Would definitely go back to this hotel if we were cruising from San Pedro again -- about half the price of two other hotels there.
“Great Hotel”
Close to port, fast response for shuttle service to and from port. Very clean and great complimentary breakfast. Will recommend especially if you are cruising. Nicely decorated.
“Great Price for Victorian atmosphere”
The atmosphere of the hotel felt Victorian with some modern updates. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and I have a bad back. The room was clean, but a little older feeling in some ways. The continental breakfast was modest, but good enough. We would definitely stay here again.
“Great for the money”
Great Bed !!!! Quiet Air Conditioner!!! What else matters for an overnight stay.
