“Extremely Disappointed”
When you ask for non-smoking you shouldn't be placed in a room where the "perfume spray" tries to cover up the smell. It only made it worse. It was absolutely horrible! I will NEVER recommend this hotel period.

I reserved a nonsmoking room and I got the opposite.It smelled really, really bad.The bed was hard as a rock and the bad smell combined not a good experience at all. But things couldn't get worse, my friend forgot his keys in the room, so we call the hotel when he realized he didn't have them, this very rude lady aswer the phone, I told her about the situation, she said that when they clean the room they didn't find any keys and she was going to check and to call back in 4 hours..are you kidding me??? The room was like 25 feet from the lobby!I was 3 hours away, I didn't bother to call back.

I had a little communication problem at check-in. It took longer than it should have. Room was spartan but clean enough. Nothing in the neighborhood attracted me to explore. I slept well. So if you are just in need of a place to lay your head a bit, this will do.

My family and I wanted to find a cheap, comfortable hotel for a week's stay. We thought Royal Inn would fit the bill perfectly. Boy were we wrong. The moment we got there, we would change our minds immediately after. Here's a breakdown: neighborhood is extremely unpleasant, women who are hardly clothed, shady 'brothers' dealing on every street corner, concrete beds, dirty bathrooms and floors, and inconvenient parking spaces, an inaudible foreign office clerk. I'm sorry, but the hotel was not a place I'd feel safe leaving my wife and daughter alone in...at night Maybe we just arrived at the wrong time, 6PM isn't that bad, but the hotel just feels like it was dropped in the middle of 'the hood'. Save yourself the grief and trouble and find another hotel like Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn if you're planning on an extended stay. For the hardy and experienced traveler, If you're in need of a place to stay for one night, this might fit your bill, longer than that and you'll be staying in misery.
“Royal Inn Motel - Pretty Good”
The experience overall was pretty good. The room was clean and very presentable. I had actually asked to change from an upstairs room to a downstairs room, and was able to do so without problem. The only complaint was that was there was a communication barrier, with the individual who seemed to be the Primary Staff member on premisis. He had difficulty expressing how to use the locking mechanism in English and, I had also asked for a local bus schedule, which I never got. Not sure he understood what I was aking for. Aside from those 2 things, I really enjoyed my stay.
