“Best Hotel Find in WEHO”

This is such a hidden gem in WEHO. I would for sure go back and stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooftop pool (though small) was very relaxing, and dinner and breakfast at the restaurant was superb. The location was perfect for getting to Santa Monica Blvd and getting to all of the bars and clubs. This place was great!!

“The rooftop makes it!”

This is my 3rd stay at Petit Ermitage and I love it more every time. The front desk staff is so great and friendly and the rooms are nice and spacious. But the rooftop is extra special. It's like a little French country oasis in the city. Most importantly, have the lemon ricotta pancakes. They are amazing. The dinner menu isn't my favorite, but the burger is really yum (not on the dinner menu, but you can order it at the restaurant).

“just perfect”

“Snoody Staff and Hard to Find”

The staff was really snoody. There was a spider in my bathroom. The room was awkward at best and the bed was really uncomfortable. The place is hard to find b/c the road does this strange turn but still continues. It doesn't look like a hotel from the outside. I was almost scared to give the vallet my key. I wondered if this guy in a snazzy outfit was just going to run off with my car never to be seen again. Don't waste your money. There a lots of hotels in the area for less that are more convenient to attraction in the area.

“Great find for West hollywood!! Would definitely stay there again”

Was a great find. Its as if you are in an apartment off the main streets like most hotels in the area. Would definitely, stay there again. TOns of great restaurants at walking distance and night life as well. Boutique style hotel, liked the electric fire place in the rooms as well, puts a nice touch. Great place for a couple, nice layout of the room, different then your usual hotel. The best way to describe it "cute". Stay was very friendly. The only complaint if I had to make one was the street noise if u have a room above the entrance of the Hotel.

“Not impressed”

Decent hotel overall. Interesting decor - not to my tastes, but some may like the "faux-rustic" feel. Rooms were fairly spacious and very clean. However, the location isn't great. It's an almost-invisible entrance off a minor side street - at night, I drove past it twice, even with a nav system, before I noticed the sign. It's fairly far from the freeway, and not really close to anything major. Staff were mixed - some were extremely nice and helpful, while others were quite rude and surly. I suppose it would work for guests that want peace and quiet, and willing to drive to get anywhere. However, there are hotels with similar quality and price points available in better locations.

“Our New Favorite LA Hotel!”

The room was very clean and so eclectic. The rooftop pool, cafe and lounge are supurb! The service was the best I have ever recieved. This is truely a hidden gem in LA! We are already planning a return.

Very charming and quaint old world hotel. Room was really nice with working fireplace, small terrace, living room area. Restaurant upstairs was cool, nice view and outside area. Slightly expensive for food.

“A lovely touch of something a little bit different!”

The hotel was fabulous, lovely atmosphere and beautiful rooftop bar and pool. The hotel staff were very helpful and freindly. I would highly recommend this eclectic, private hotel to anyone wanting something just that little bit different.
