I’m disappointed about the lack of customer service by the woman who checked me in. She was not friendly and put me in a room that smelled and it was overlooking a roof with a noisy AC unit. I came back down to the lobby to switch rooms and had better service by someone else. It was just odd that she offered other people directions about WiFi access, directions to the elevator and a welcome water bottle to them, but not me. Just not a good experience for me.

The staff was very nice, the historic details were really cool to see, the room was beautiful and in great condition! Our only complaint was that we couldn’t use the jacuzzi or steam room because they were out of order. The pool was so nice!!

The room were dirty and pillows had yellow stain… the room condition was terrible.. but the receptionist area and going to the bar and elevator area was beautiful. Stuffs were really friendly.

Other then hair still being in the bathtub the parking was terrible they charge $50 a night for parking but they don’t tell u that almost every spot is reserved already i had to park on the 10th floor everyday

Loved the old building character with all the wonderful architectural details. If you want to stay somewhere with class and elegance this is it , they do not build them like this anymore. Also the staff from the moment you arrive are friendly, attentive and helpful.

This is a very classy hotel in a convenient area. The bar and the food there are excellent but expensive and they don't have room service. Our bathroom was small and only partially updated, and the mattress was soft. Nonetheless, if you get a good price, I would recommend the Biltmore.

Great location for exploring Downtown L.A. Very close to Pershing Square station. Reception staff warm and welcoming. Lovely rooms, which some might say need updating, but the old fashioned styling ads to the great ambiance of this hotel. Fabulous indoor heated pool and gym that I enjoyed using daily. The public areas are huge and have striking decor, with beautiful classical music playing at all times, adds to the sense of history. If you’re after a hotel with a lot of hustle and bustle this is not for you, more of a quiet oasis from the craziness of DTLA. I won’t hesitate to stay here next time I visit.

Last time I visited LA, I told myself I would stay here. So glad I did! What a beautiful location. The decor is so incredible and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfectly comfortable. Had a wonderful time!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was a beautiful property with a lot of history. Very clean, staff was excellent, and food was very good. Only downside was noise from traffic below, even though we were on the 9th floor. The pool and exercise facilities were very nice, but unfortunately the hot tub was out of service during our stay.

Beautiful history and architecture. Very cool and fascinating to see all of the areas of the building and learn the history. The room was nice, but our bathroom didn't have a lock. More basic amenities would've been nice considering the price. Staff was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was expensive, so I would recommend going elsewhere for food. It was overall pretty average, but I'd probably stay somewhere else next time. Especially for a long-term trip. There was also a $35 dollar a night fee for amenities, which is not mentioned on any booking site.

The Biltmore Hotel hosted the Academy Awards eight times from 1931 to 1942. The hotel has multiple ballrooms tied to Oscar history, including the Crystal Ballroom where the Academy was established in 1927. The Oscar statuette design was created by Cedric Gibbons at this location. Luise Rainer made history at the Biltmore by winning consecutive Oscars. Every hotel guest room is adorned with the presence of renowned actors and actresses who have previously stayed. The hotel is conveniently situated in a prime location with easy access to various modes of transportation including the metro, buses, and taxi services.
