“Great customer service.”

I was disappointed with the conciere level. The refreshments were generous with alcholic beverages, but very limited with snacks. The fresh vegetables and ranch dressing, crackers, apples, orgaes and banannas, Coffee, tea, Hot chocolate were not worth the additional money that I paid to stay on that level. Were the room upgraded from regular rooms? Ny room was supposed to be smoke free but it smelled like some one had smoked a cigar in the bathroom. This could have been serious for someone who is allergic to smoke. The staff was exceptionally courteous, helpful, friendly and warm. The staff hospitality partially made up for the meager refreshments on the conciere level. I was expecting at least some cheese and crackers. I will not bother with the conciere level again.

“Best in area”

The Hotel was very clean and the Staff was very helpful when we got there. On our exit we took our own luggage down and they weren't as quick to help out but overall I would it was very clean and I would recommend it.

“"whatch out with the parking price"”

The hotel is god, well located, but some blocks away from a restaurant in order to go walking. Another thing to consider is that the daily parking price is too high, comparing with other hotels...so, this is something to be considered, and will increase the value of your trip a lot. I would not recomend this hotel for those who are traveling by car and that don't like to walk.

“Really Expensive Room Service”

Liked it better in the 80's when it was a Sheraton Grand @$27 night plus tax. In any case, still a nice property, conveniently located. While this shouldn't surprise anyone Room Service was really expensive. A New York Steak, glass of wine and a desert was $80. Food was above average, but certainly not on par with the cost.

“Good hotel”

The hotel was basically what I expect at Marriott--which is why I chose it in the first place. Comfortable, clean room. Helpful and friendly staff. Good location.

“Marriot is great place to stay”

Great room, great service, friendly staff. Downtown hotel so easy to access a taxi and short ride to bars and Staple centre street.

“A little too old..”

The Hotel back in the day must have been at it's prime.. However, for today date the Hotel needs a "face lift' and some TLC. Not dirty but very worn out..

Area recommendations

I would say stay at the brand new Marriott closer to LA Live...
