“Don't stay there”
Would never go back. The room was very small, dirty carpet, and air conditioning that didn't work. Spoke with management and they didn't care. Paid a lot of money per night and could have stayed elsewhere much more comfortably. Mainly chose this hotel because of being on Rodeo drive. This hotel desperately needs updating!!!!
“Good location and pricing”
The biggest complaint was the thin walls and how well you could hear the noise from the rooms above you - it was pretty bad. Also, I did not like that the bathroom door would not stay open but was rigged to always swing closed - very annoying. There also was a terrible sweet smell from the carpeting that really messed with my allergies. The hotel was nice and the staff were very nice. The price was right and the location great. But for a hotel on Rodeo Dr., it could use a little more class - as in Montage or Four Seasons style training.
“Great Location on Rodeo Drive”
Fantastic staying on Rodeo Drive and not far from LAX.
“It was OK.”
The people at the front desk don't talk to each other, so someone says they are going to do something and no one else has heard about it after they have gone home. Also we were awakened at 8:30 AM on a Friday morning from things being slammed on the floor above us, which they said must have been the residents in the room moving furniture around, but then when I said they must have brought their own vacuum to vacuum, they finally conceded that maybe it was their people doing maintenance. Also the front desk gentleman didn't know where the Ahmanson Theatre was to tell the LUXE driver to take us to our play, so when we got in the car he was upset because he did not charge us the right amount. This driver is very unhappy with his job, he said he started the department 1 year ago and I said so you must really like it and he said he hated it, and it showed when he drove. We went thru all kinds of neighborhoods instead of the main drag, but it seemed to still take us awhile to get where we were going. He complained that he was so busy he didn't know what time he would be back to pick us up, so he gave us his card so we could call him when we were ready. They need to get a driver who is pleasant to speak to.
“Perfect Location”
The Luxe hotel is the most convenient to browse famed Rodeo Drive as it stands right in the middle. I prefer it to more luxurious places as I find more intimate. Don't expect the same luxury as the Hilton but it is very cosy.
“Relaxing on Rodeo”
Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive is a great hotel! I would totally stay there again. The service was great, the room was beautiful, the staff was super friendly and the location is amazing! The room sizes were large and despite my room looking out to the courtyard, it was still nice and quiet throughout the day which meant I was able to sleep well. The decor is lovely throughout the hotel too. Luxe is located right in the middle of Rodeo Drive so its safe and many great restaurants are in walking distance. Check out the Cheesecake Factory!
“Excellent location”
My family loved the Luxe Hotel. We enjoyed the stores on Rodeo Drive, the food at the restaurant and the friendly staff. I highly recommend it and would love go back.
“I slept through the night!”
I always have trouble sleeping through the night when I am out of town...but I slept like a baby at the Luxe Hotel.
“a great experience”
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive; the people on the desk were helpful, friendly, and courteous. The valet service was also friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We were provided with good advice concerning sightseeing excursions. We would definitely return to this hotel if the opportunity is provided.
“Been there 5 times good location and very comfortable.”
Great location and the beds are fantastic, very comfortable, snug into them and get plenty of sleep especially since a 14 hour flight from Australia.
