“La Quinta Inn & Suites LAX - Good location”

Hotel is close to airport and car rental agencies, so it's very conveniently located. The hotel in itself is a bit old and needs to be updated. It is clean though.

“Close to LAX but Quiet”

We stayed only one night at the La Quinta Inn as it was convienent to LAX and has a complimentary shuttle. Dispite this the room was very quiet, for being that close to the airport. Our room was clean as everything as expected. The pool was closed for some maintenance or issue but looked alright being up outside on the third or forth floor. If you don't have a car along with you there is not much to do but for staying overnight it was not a problem. Breakfast was good with lot's of food and room to eat as they use the hotel dining area and bar. I would stay here again for the convienience and price.

“Short stay convenience”

We chose this hotel because of closeness to LAX. We needed day to decompress after flying from New Zealand. We took $5 trolley to Manhattan Beach Mall which was good way to spend a few hours. Breakfast was a bit chaotic because of a very large tour group from China either eating breakfast of crowding the lobby waiting for hotel shuttle buses take them to airport. Kitchen ran out of food and couldn't buss the tables enough to keep clean to other guests arriving for breakfast. But staff managed to keep their composure and acted very professionally and politely. Other than that, everything was as expected.

“Great value”

Stayed here for one night to get a late checkout for my LAX flight. Room was a little smaller than normal but fine for one night. New flat screen TV with plenty of channels, comfy king bed, smallish bathroom, microwave oven and fridge in room. Ordered a steak sandwich from room service which was rather ordinary, didn't have breakfast as there was a Dennys half a mile down the road. Parking was cheaper than other LAX hotels I've stayed at. Free hi speed wifi worked great. Asked for a late checkout (7pm) and paid half the day rate. This was available up until 9pm if required. There was a LAX shuttle running every 20 mins, I had a car so didn't use it. Overall this hotel is better value for money than any other LAX hotel I've stayed at. Pros- Free hi speed wifi, cheaper parking, cheaper room and much cheaper late checkout. Cons- Smallish rooms, seedy neighbourhood.

“Slipping”

Just renovated, but last two time I stayed here, room was not made up properly (one set of towles, missing pillows with no cases), or had things broken in the room.

“Good value”

Overall a good choice for the money! Easy shuttle from LAX, room clean and modern upgrades with a comfy bed. Continental breakfast was better than most with eggs hashbrowns and all the fixings. The neighborhood is just industrial but what do you expect next to an airport.
