“Fantastic Hotel”
Great location on the beach with a short walk to everything,Pier, Restaurants and shops. Room was beautifully appointed and had everything you could imagine. The bathroom was the largest for a hotel room i have ever come across. The pool area was kept immaculate and the pool temperature was perfect.The only negatives were very slow and inconsistent service in the restaurant no matter what time of day you were there, even if it was quiet. The $7.00 charge to fill the ice bucket for the room was absolutely disgusting and the hotel should take a good look at itself over something like that, it put a blemish over an otherwise beautiful stay.The $34.00 a night valet parking charge was also steep but in keeping with other hotel charges around Santa Monica. It is not cheap to stay here but if you can i am sure you will love it. Serenity & sunshine bliss,can't wait to go back.
“Great Hotel - Listen to customers requests though!”
I asked for a room overlooking the courtyard (facing the ocean) - I was given a room facing the street. Every time I have stayed in the past my requests have been honoured. I was too tired to argue after an 11 hour flight.
“Would definitely use this hotel again”
Stayed here for 3 days and was very impressed especially with the room size and decor. Very comfortable and spacious. Staff were very helpful and courteous. We enjoyed breakfast sitting outside on the terrace (paid for separately). Location is good as the hotel backed onto a road running parallel with the beach at Santa Monica. Short walk to the main street in Santa Monica with restaurants available. Slightly disappointed in choice of restaurants - not too many around to choose from. A couple of good seafood restaurants, italian and steakhouse. Would use this hotel again if in the area.
