“Good value motel on a budget”

We stayed three nights for a short vacation. Check in was very quick with nice staff. Our room was typical budget motel, but very clean and functional for our use. We received good value for the price paid. There are few amenities, but we did not want any. Our only problem was with the elevator, which wanted to stick open and was slow at times.

Area recommendations

Johnny Rockets is located at the mall to the southeast for good local flavor. Good burgers and malts at a decent price.

“please don't go”

simply horrible, dirthy, smelly. I felt like we stayed in an ash tray. Throw up all over by the elevator and inside; had to carry luggage down the stairs. Pay a little more, stay somewhere else.

“Convenient, economical, no frills.”

The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. When we requested extra towels and pillows we were quickly accommodated. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast choices were limited so we chose to eat at a nearby restaurant that was advertised in a circular available in our room. The location was near a busy intersection and the rooms were fairly quiet. It was adequate for our needs.

“Already planning my next trip back.. :-)”

I have to admit I was alil nervous at 1st when I was on here reading all the reviews of hotel sand I picked this one because it was the most afforable... the beach is only 3 miles away and its a great walk there(they offered to call a cab but why not take it all in) and the people were friendly and i cant wait to go back.. the hotel staff was helpful and very nice.. I think anyone who wants to go to a hotel and relax enjoy time to themselves this is a great choice.. I felt safe there if I didnt have to return to md for work I would of stayed longer.. They do ask for a 50.00 deposit but I got it back when I left no biggie!!

I went to Renado beach area.. GREAT AREA!!! People were friendly and nice.. It was great to see how this lil beach community lives on a daily basis

Renado Beach you will love it if you want to take in a real beach life community... I DID

“Just a place to sleep”

Just going to list my dissapointments, the air conditioner was poor the TV reception was awful the Bathroom fan was anoying the bed matress needs changing the place was in a good area and that made the night better.
