“The price is right.”

An inexpensive hotel in L.A. that provides a good basic service. We use it as a base to travel around the area. The Metro is a block away too. Nothing fancy. Clean. Quiet.

“Disgusting”

The room was so dirty, everything was REALLY old and disgusting and smelly, the bed was broken.

“not impressed”

The hotel location is not bad, but the room is not so good. There were some ants in the room which we lived (room No 423). And the door can not be opened every time. The manager said we need to open the door more time and it's just like exercises. But we do not want to "fight" with with the door every day. And the button of the elevator were borken.

“OK for the price”

The hotel is situated in Korea Town. The property is old and needs a facelift. It was relatively clean. The staff was kind and efficient. Breakfast was some coffee, juice and bread. Parking was free. The beds were difficult to sleep on after a few days. For the price, it was not a bad deal. Definitely a budget hotel.

“Good location, cheap, that's it.....”

I needed a place to spend the night, cheap and close to the Los Angeles Convention Center, so I booked this hotel. Needs a very urgent refurbishment. Walls are dirty, carpets are old, shower is OK, more or less you can't expect much for this price. Good location, cheap, that's it.....

“Not as bad as expected”

There was a smell when we first entered the room but you get used to eventually (or when the AC is turned on). The neighborhood was kind of scary at night. The only good thing was FREE wifi (surprising!) and no bed bugs.

“For What You Pay, It's OK”

Located close to the Wilshire/Vermont Metro, this Hojo has seen better days and is showing wear, but the rooms are big, the beds clean and comfortable and the water pressure is fine. For what I paid, I'm quite satisfied - it is a low-end budget option. Staff was friendly, too.

“a reasonable hotel for the price and location”

Hotel is located in Koreatown which is now safer than in the 1970s. One block ahead is Wilshire which leads to Beverly Hills, and the other side is a series of Korean and Thai restaurants. It is one block from the subway station Red Line which takes you downtown or to Hollywood. So it is a bit run down, but so are many hotels in L.A. and NYC. Some of the hotel staff do no speak very good English and may have a hard time connecting incoming calls. I do not find the garage infested with criminal elements.
