“Worth the money”

Read some of the reviews was a bit sketchy. But all in all, for 3 nights the location was great, metro train station just a short walk away, as well a grocery store and other places. Not too far from walk of fame. Nice and peaceful to sit by pool in afternoon. Appears to be upgrading rooms, liked the fridge and microwave included, as well as numerous tv channels to choose from at night. Pass on the breakfast. And be pre-warmed if going to the Mcdonalds down the street, lots of wackos hang out in there. Would stay there again..enjoyed

“Good standard hotel in Hollywood”

Good location as near metro station but a half an hour walk from Hollywood Blvd main area, which is do-able!! Some staff were friendly, others not so helpful but when needed light fixed it was done the next day and room was cleaned everyday to a good standard. Generally a good hotel to use on a budget!!

I liked this hotel due to it's cost and great location. Breakfast is not so good, but there are a few near good places. The room was very clean and comfortable, just what you need if you are going to spend few days in L.A. Location is great, there is a subway station one block away. I didn't use the pool but it's a plus that other small hotels don't have.

“Close t o bars/clubs”

I liked this hotel because it was walking distance to bars and clubs nearby down hollywood. What I didn't like was how strict they were about everything. I couldn't even have one guest over.

“HOLLYWOOD CITY INN”

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS HOTEL. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING.THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN BUT MAID SERVICE WAS VERY SLOW.THE POOL WAS CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. I WOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

“Good value”

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Obviously someone cared about the appearance as the pool area and small gardens were attractive. The staff particularly ,the older desk clerk ,was very friendly. we were able to park our car off the street and the room had a microwave which was handy. The shower was fabulous!. The area had a supermarket and fast food outlets a few minutes away and was in a neighbourhood that didn't feel unsafe. The only down side was that the Hollywood Walk of Fame was a good 1/2 hour walk away - not quite as close as I thought it was. However, accessing the hotel from the freeway was very easy and we drove to Universal Studios which was also an easy drive.

“Basic but fine”

Our holiday in LA was tainted by the weather and therefore we did not get to sit around the pool as hoped. The hotel was fine, basic but centrally placed for the metro and all the sights.
