“Spacious rooms and friendly staff”

Checking in was easy even though we arrived before check in time our rooms were ready. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious, a little bit dated but had a large comfy bed, a table and chairs, fridge, sofa and lots of wardrobe space. The rooms were kept very clean. The location was excellent - right behind the kodak theatre. It was a little bit noisy as there was a busy road nearby but LA is not a quiet city! For breakfast there were muffins, croissants, toast, tea, coffee and juice - but you had to carry these upsatirs as there is no seating downstairs. There is also no lift so you have to carry bags up one flight of stairs.

Stayed in Hollywood twice now and this hotel was by far the best for location, the hotel is more like apartment style with a full kitchen it is certainly a bonus, it is very clean, very retro style i loved it just like the old movie days !! and thats what it's all about. I will definitely stay here again with out a doubt !!! And by the way the staff are amazing nothing is to much for them no matter what, i thought they were GREAT !!!!!!!!!!

“Very convenient”

Although the hotel is older, it has been kept up to very livable standards, and has a cute "celebrity" theme. The location can't be beat-- off the beaten path on a quiet little street--but literally just a block away from the entire Hollywood scene (Chinese theater, walk of fame, etc.) Beds were comfortable enough, room was clean, and outside/inside noise was minimal. The subway station is also within walking distance which is a huge plus if you want to get anywhere else in LA. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay for the money that we spent.

“Good hotel”

The hotel is very close of the Walk of Fame, the room is claen, big and confortable. The breakfast is simple, there is no tables, you need to get what you want and eat at the room, or at some tables that are in front of the hotel, we stay at the first floor and don't have any problems. One day the parking lot is full, and we left our car in the middle of the lot, and was necessary to left the keys at the reception, but we don't have any problem at all.

“Location Location Location !”

The Hollywood Celebrity Hotel is a good clean but very basic hotel in a Prime Location, 2min.walk to Hollywood Blvd. Also only 6 min drive to Universal Studios. I would certainly recommend this Hotel.

“Great Location in Hollywood”

The Hotel was not 5 star but was clean and Ok for the price. Location great, right behind the Chinese theatre. There is no lift so if you have bags you have to carry them up one flight of stairs if on the second level. We went for a walk at night and felt safe walking from hotel to Hollywood Boulevard. If on a budget and not looking for something 5 star then this place was fine.

“Excellent location for Kodak and Chinese Theatres and the Hollywood Boulevard”

A very warm welcome and very helpful and friendly staff were always available in reception. A buffet breakfast was available in the hotel lobby which was a welcome benefit since most hotels in the USA do not offer this. OK it was only "continental" but it was more than adequate to start off the day. The location was absolutely superb, a short walk through the side of the shopping complex brought us right out onto Hollywood Boulevard next to the Kodak Theatre. Plenty of choice for eating and amusements etc. The hotel is not advertised as being a high end luxury affair but it is extremely clean, the staff are all friendly and helpful and the location just what suited us. Would not hesitate to go there again, couldn't be better for our requirements.

“Great location for Hollywood sight seeing”

Stayed two nights at the Hollywood Celebrity. The hotel is in a great location for the sights on Hollywood Boulivard, being about 5 minutes walk from the Kodak and Chinese Theatres. The location is also good being away from the main streets on a quiet cul-de-sac. Rooms were good, very clean with comfortable beds. The small kitchenette was very useful, equiped with fridge and microwave; this was handy after more than two weeks of resturant eating. Service was excellent from the reception and housekeeping staff. The receptionists were very freindly and helpful. One thing to note, the parking is in a small lot which is the turn before the Hotel cul-de-sac; this is sign posted but easily missed on first visit. Use the Parking lot! parking in the Cul-de-sac is not allowed and Parking Enforcement are there very frequently, even the Hotel staff got caught out while we were there. If you are considering a short stay for Hollywood sightseeing this is a great VFM option and definately better than the rate charged suggests. Would definately stay here again.
