Starting with the Valet parking on the first day and arriving at an impeccably appointed room and spending Tuesday through Sunday, every detail, breakfast, was very well done.
The Front Office Manager, David Hall, who seemed to be on duty 24/7 was as efficient as he was gracious about any and all requests.
My room was very clean, very nicely appointed. The bathroom was always spotlessly cleaned.
My WiFi worked well too.
Thank you for making our stay feel like a very special time.
Hotel was beautiful, clean, wonderful service. I travel about once or twice a month, would definitely recommend this hotel. Aesthetically beautiful, staff is polite, helpful, go out of their way. Rooms are clean, kept up nicely. 24 hour fitness room, nice pool. Restaurant and bar is also nice. Valet is convenient, although $42 a day; however not much parking nearby. Good spot central to most things; 20-30 minutes from Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Hollywood, and Universal Studios.
Relaxing and historic trip. Don'the expect an updated room. I did think new window coverings and restoring / polishing furniture, and new bed pillow would help visually. Not sure if restoring helps or help's value.Honesty if you are a history buff the window coverings aND bed pillow are the same in the one's in the pictures when the Queen Mary a sailed. Only thing someone knocked on my door three times one night. I told them I did not open doors at night and they stopped. I should have called the front desk though. All in all excellent staff and hotel. My Aunts sailed on the Queen Mary to Europe when they were alive so I truly loved them and cherish this experience with all my heart!
I really did enjoy the stay at the Westin Pasadena. The facility is nice and parking is an adventure. I didn't arrive until 10 pm the night of check in. The hotel staff was attentive, polite, and service focused. The only issue was the soap was removed from my room by housekeeping when they cleaned the room after the first night. Thank goodness I had soap from the Body Shop in my overnight bag that I used when I returned to my room at 11 p.m. on day two.........There were no replenishments of lotion, or other toiletries either.........not my idea of a 4 start hotel......but still a pleasant stay if you have your own toiletries.
