“Comfort and convenience”

Stayed 3 nights from Sunday to Tuesday. Hotel met all my requirements. Free Wifi worked well. Only one floor up room was at side and not on main street which is not too noisy anyway. No spectacular view but some green trees/shrubbery to rear. Small balcony. Bed comfortable and all very clean and well serviced. Adequate breakfast but not a lot of hot food. Restaurant across the street if more required - not used on stay but came recommended by local contact. Sampled evening wine briefly and seemed very pleasant. Desk was courteous and helpful - booking tours and airport link bus etc. Ice machine at basement level and well stocked mini-bar - prices OK. Air conditioning efficient and quiet. Valet parking not used but looked good. Very limited parking in street nearby. Small but comfortable lounge area off lobby with some internet access available. General area around seemed safe and calm both day and night. Small terrace with tables to side of main entrance. Seemed popular hotel for business users but I would have been happy to stay here with family. Convenient central location.

“LA mid price”

Ok location: bus stop along the block. Two busses to Holloywood Bvld. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Clean room and good continental breakfast provided.

“Lots of personal touches”

Not the best looking hotel from the outside and the view wasn't great but the room itself was excellent and the air con very quiet. There was a fridge in the room and a turn down service with chocs and the following day's weather forecast. The Staff could not do enough for you, they are really friendly. There is a complimentary cheese and wine session each evening and very good continental breakfast. It was only about 15 mins drive to the Universal Studios and a short drive to the main Hollywood attraction. Bus possible, but there is a car park (charge applicable)
