“Avoid!”
I had stayed in Days Inn properties before and was very satisfied so I was expecting the same level of quality this time...Bad mistake. The reception employee gave me an attitude like I was messing up his day from A to Z. I had reserved a jacuzzi suite and he gave me a standard room. I went back to have the room I had reserved and I had to argue with him and get my reservation. The neighborhood was very bad and felt unsafe. The room was clean but extremely outdated. Only one lamp was working. There were cigarettes burn marks on the furniture. Forget the free breakfast, there is nothing to choose from. I know that a continental breakfast is not a complete buffet but there is a zone between a complete buffet and 2 bread heels, butter full of crumb and half a bowl of Cherios available. We ended up going somewhere else for breakfast. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!
“decent hotel for reasonable price”
the hotel image that I saw in website was not same exactly. I got disappointed a bit but overall it is clean and good.
“Not Impressed”
It offers what you propose, despite the need for a better carpets cleaning. The breakfast is poor and is served at the reception too tight. Located in a poorly area. I recommend to my friends but with special care at night.
“Get What You Pay For”
Located in rundown part of town. No one at front desk upon arrival, though, eventually personnel arrived - no apology, no smile, no welcoming attitude - appeared preoccupied, bothered. Non-smoking room smelled of stale smoke - room looked nothing like picture on Web site - full-size bed instead of King size (as promised) - old carpet, old decor, cracks in bathroom fixtures, vanity. No plastic bag for ice bucket - not about to put my ice into an unprotected plastic bucket. Unusable peep hole - scratched on other side of door. Morning personnel watching video on laptop - video was loud with lots of profanity - personnel more into video than concerned for guests. Complimentary continental breakfast - wheat bread, butter, jelly, coffee, Froot Loops and Corn Flakes, milk - no real choices. One plus - bathroom was clean.
“Perfect for our needs :)”
This was a great location for the right price... for our trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific, on a budget. If I had to complain it would only be that the beds were kind of hard and my husband and I woke a little sore, but not unbearable. We had our 2 and 5 yr old with us and only stayed 1 night, in a 2 double bed room. Had a fridge, microwave, coffee pot...was clean...when we first arrived the AC unit was not working so we were immediately moved to a new room. Both gentlemen at the front desk were kind and helpful, easy fast check in and out no problem! Booked one day in advance online. Free breakfast was simple yet fit our needs, very small area to eat but it was not busy as we went on a Monday and there was a table with 4 chairs, perfect for us :) So would not be great for a large group who wished to have breakfast together at the hotel but...? Neighborhood not the best but we weren't there to hang out in the neighborhood and come on it's LB!
“not impressed”
they put a member of our party in a smoking room and would not change. if i had not already paid on my credit card i would have checked out and found another motel.
“agent review, motel review”
amazing !!!! out standing and great people!!
“Totally disappointed”
This was my worst hotel experience ever. The office was unstaffed when I arrived at 6pm, it took 10 minutes to get someone to the front desk. The room was in such disrepair I couldn't use the hot tub, the standard tub (the mechanical drain plugs had been ripped out and were lying on the floor), or the microwave (the cord was unplugged behind the wall unit where you can't reach it. The mismatched furniture and small tube TV were leftovers from the 70's. Get this - the heater / AC unit was wired to a 60 minute wind up timer dial. You have to wake up and get out of bed every hour to wind it back up! The toilet paper was a half used roll from the last guests. Fixtures and fittings were rusty and dirty. Even the federally mandated evacuation sign was affixed to the wall with a push pin. I didn't want to take my shoes off in fear of getting my socks dirty on the carpet. I've never been so disappointed. My fiance took one look and left. So much for our honeymoon getaway...
“Breakfast at lobby”
We had great time at Long Beach and the hotel not impressed us in nothing, it was fair. Clean, friendly people(looks like a family runs the business) at front desk, I had to ask for more towels since we were 4 people, and the breakfast was at the front desk - coffee, milk, 2 kinds of cereal, white bread, toaster, jelly and butter and orange juice, too small place to serve everyone at breakfast time.
“not impressed”
you get what you pay for was ok nothing spectacular
