“Quite Satisfactory”

I was put off by some of the comments about this hotel, but I chose it anyway because I thought it was the same place that I stayed at in 1986. On arriving at the hotel I immediately discovered that it was not the place I was expecting, so I must have stayed previously at another Days Inn. The very polite staff were most helpful, particularly when I asked if there were any eating places in the area which did not serve just burgers and fast food. The hotel had no restaurant and there was nowhere around which offered the type of food I wanted for breakfast. So I had to make do with toast, butter, jam and coffee, which was freely available in the reception area. The advice to dine at a large restaurant about half a mile away was much appreciated. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with en-suite facilities and was certainly value for money. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone not wishing to be in the centre of Los Angeles life.
