“Don't stay at this hotel”
It was a terrible experience. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs, and no running water for a few hours because of the lobby remodeling and plumbing work during my stay. It's almost like false advertising without mentioning this major remodeling work on Marriott website. According to a hotel staff, the remodeling work is scheduling to be done by January 15.
“Don't Stay Here until...”
Do not stay at this hotel until the remodeling of the lobby is finished and one can enter and exit the hotel in the way intended. The room was very good. However, upon arrival in a car one registered in a small makeshift entry, but then had to carry one's luggage down one flight of garage stairs to reach the elevator. Or, one could carry luggage UP to floor 2, 3, or 4. Valet parking was offered but the better arrangement was to park on the lower level of the garage--where the elevator opened--and obtain one's own car. Marriott should have been offering rooms at half-price to offset the inconvenience, but they were not.
“Disappointing Visit, Will Not Return”
I was unhappy to find toenail clippings on the floor of my hotel room upon check in, but was most disappointed in the lack of response from the hotel staff. After calling the unanswered front desk, guest services and housekeeping lines for 15 minutes, I finally had to call the hotel's reservation number in order to speak to someone about my concern. When I mentioned that the room was less than clean, the individual on the phone said, "oh, we're sorry- what would you like us to do about it? Do you want it cleaned or something?" On a separate note, the current renovations were never communicated to me prior to my visit. Had I known that the elevator would be out of order, the restaurant (and subsequently room service) was unavailable, the staircases inaccessible and the staff was going to be as unhelpful as they were, I would definitely have considered an alternate hotel.
“Very impressed with service and location”
We were very impressed with the service at this hotel. The service was great. Despite having to pay $17/day to park, the valet service was excellent. The valet staff remembered our names and was very customer focused. The staff in the hotel were also very positive and constantly greeted us when we were in the lobby. The hotel had a nice complimentary coffee/tea service every morning and evening. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a great location. Easy to get to the airport, LA, and the valley. Also in walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
“Good price for location!”
We thought that this was pretty close to most attractions in Beverly Hills/LA. The hotel was a short drive to Beverly Hills, but was not truly in Beverly hills it is on a busy street and the hotel is small. However, the staff were very friendly, it was close enough to most attrations we wanted to see, and we would recommend it again.
“Will go back but request rooms more carefully”
Great location on Olympic near Century City, close enough to everything in LA really. The service was friendly and exceptional, from the front desk to the valet crew. The room on the Olympic Bl was noisy from the traffic with the deck door open. With the doors closed you will have to have the air on, which is really really noisy, our only complaint.
“Don't get a room near the elevator”
I've stayed at this hotel before and things were good, conveniently located across the street from a Ralphs and close to my clients office. I made the mistake of taking a room by the hotel elevators on the 3rd floor. Every time the elevator started going up or down, I heard a loud bomb sound and my bed would shake. REALLY ANNOYING! If you get a room away from the elevators things are fine however. The hotel staff is kind and make you feel welcome.
“Marriott Beverly Hills we can't wait to go back”
Everything was Great
“Perfect location”
Lovely hotel, close to our location. We came down to visit my son who recently moved to LA and works in Beverly Hills. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. We had to pay for parking like we usually do in big cities, but it was worth it because our vehicle was in a covered garage and we didn't have to deal with it. Great stay and a good price through Expedia.
“Thumbs Up!”
The room was clean and business friendly. Wireless internet worked very well. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I would recommend it.
