“Good value for Fairplex visitors”

A good room for the value if you can get along without the bells and whistles. It wasn't the Hilton but then I wasn't paying Hilton rates. A coffee maker would have been nice. Good for a one night stay but I probably wouldn't stay there longer than that. The 10.00 extra for the jacuzzi room was money well spent ! The first desk clerk was very friendly but the second one was a little crabby. My room was a little close to the street but I found this not to be an issue. The motel itself was quiet and I got a good nights rest. I requested a 7:00 AM wakeup call which I never received. I would probably stay here again. The motel is close to the Pomona Fairplex where I was visiting.

“Clean, safe hotel close to the Claremont Colleges”

We needed a hotel room for graduation weekend at the Claremont Colleges. Claremont Lodge was the only hotel available within reasonable distance from campus. The rooms were clean and we got a room at the North end of the building, away from the highway noise. Plenty of parking space even for our trailer (to move my son). A nice breakfast place is across the street. Driving to Pomona college is about 5 to 10 minutes. This is very nice alternative hotel, close to the colleges, if you can't get a room at the "usual" place.

“Claremont Lodge perfectly satisfactory for me”

Once you fit a king-size bed into the room there wasn't a whole lot of floor space left over, but I just needed a place to sleep, so it was fine. The coffee maker and supplied coffee was a nice touch.

“ok but getting shabby”

On the positive side, the service was ok, and the room was reasonably clean, with one exception. There was mold growing on the bathroom door. Cause of this was probably the malfunctioning fan in the bathroom. The bedspreads were threadbare and there were no fitted bottom sheets, just flat sheets that were too short for the job. Perhaps the hotel can't afford new linens? Call it the Deferred Maintenance Lodge.

For a business travel looking for an expensive room for over night, the room was OK, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.

TV broke. Shower didn't work. The guy at the front desk didn't care.
