“CONVENIENT LOCATION BUT "SHOWING ITS AGE" BIG TIME”

Copnvenient to Sag Harbor center and "side trips." Staff pleasant. Exterior, rear where most guests enter much in need of painting and renovation. Satisfied on balance. Rate reasonable. Not much "competition" in Sag Harbor proper. Fine view of harbor.

Area recommendations
Downtown Sag Harbor. "Side trip" perhaps to Southhampton -- ll miles. East Hampton convenient but most retail there :"over the top." Multi-ferry trip form Connecticut a nice "adventure" once in a while.

“would stay thier again”

peopel at the hotel were very friendly only thing that i didn;t like was TV was to small for the room but internet work great .room was clean.

hotel was close within walking distance to the 7-11 store and downtown,local bar's resturant in town. and hotel was right in front of the water.beautiful view .

“Terrible”

This place was a travesty. The bathroom had hair clumps all over it. The ceiling tiles were all out of place and it stunk of mildew. You Couldn't pay me to stay there again.

“Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis”

Zu diesem Hotel kamen wir eigentlich nur durch Zufall: Es war das einzig Verfügbare und gleichzeitig Bezahlbare in den Hamptons. Entsprechend gering waren unsere Erwartungen. Doch schon bei der Ankunft stellten wir fest, dass das Hotel wirklich traumhaft unmittelbar am Meer gelegen war. Der Empfang war familiär und äußerst freundlich; als wir erzählten, dass wir vorhätten, die Hamptons mit dem Rad zu erkunden, hat man uns sogar kostenlos Räder verliehen. Die Hotelzimmer waren separat in einem Bau untergebracht, der von außen stark an ein Motel erinnert. Dennoch waren wir mit der Ausstattung des Zimmers sehr zufrieden, da dieses neben einem geräumigen Bad auch noch eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank aufzuweisen hatte. Dieser ist ideal, wenn man sich abends noch ein bisschen raussetzen und bei einem gekühlten Getränk den Abend ausklingen lassen will. Einen großen Flachbildfernseher hatten wir ebenfalls nicht erwartet. Alles in allem ist das Hotel eindeutig weiterzuempfehlen, zumal es auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (zB Hampton-Jitney) leicht zu erreichen ist.

Area recommendations
Shelter Island: Die Insel ist nur ca 5 km vom Hotel entfernt. Rüber gehts mit einer Fähre. Wenn man dann ans andere Ende der Insel fährt, kann man einen der schönsten Sonnenuntergänge überhaupt erleben. Aber Vorsicht: Unbedingt ein Licht, Taschenlampe o.ä. mitnehmen! Denn es wird anschließend sehr schnell dunkel.
