“Great location, TERRIBLE customer service!”

Great location for all those flying in to New York JFK to do some shopping. Lowes across the street, Roosevelt Field Mall and one other, Walmart, Target, Best Buy and Home Depot with in 5 minutes drive just to name a few. BUT Customer Service severely lacking!! Got cold in the middle of the night, called down to the front desk to see if one could be brought up to the room - NO ANSWER!! Went down and got told by a very rude front desk staff member that said there were no blankets and I would have to wait until morning to get one. I asked if I could get a blanket from another room, to which the response was - I am not house keeping, you will have to wait until the morning. Lucky for me another hotel guest had come down who was only using one of the beds in the room and offered me the blanket off of the spare bed! I have to say though that the management in the morning was fantastic and gave me a full refund.

“Not impressed”

Out of the way and in a construction site. No continental breakfast as advertised. Desk person gave us key to the wrong room (gave us 201 and room was 207). Requested a room near the front entrance and had one pretty far from the front and on the 2nd floor. It's a good thing we were exhausted so we didn't notice the cheap matress, thin and worn linens and lumpy pillows.

“Great service - The rooms STINK!!!”

They say the bad impression will over shadow anything good. However it is important to note that the front desk staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. However the smell in our room nearly killed me. Everything smells - the sheats, drapes, washroom -UGH. I could not wait to leave only because it smelled so bad.

remote would not work, after 15 min. went back to movie channel. Response was getting new tvs. Ok for over night

“Red roof inn new york”

Only a couple of drawbacks - no business center so if you need to print anything you cannot (boarding passes) and if you come without a rental car no restaurant only a vending machine.......a few blocks away is a famous daves BBQ restaurant that was good but did not care for the walk

“Don't do it.”

Room was supposed to be “non-smoking”, it was as long as “non-smoking” you are not a smoker but the last guest was. Room stank of cigarette smoke. The bed was both hard and lumpy.

“Horrible hotel”

Bed was horrible, not hot enough water in shower, drain plugged, ended up standing in soapy water, and "non-smoking" room smelled like cigarettes. YUGH: (

“Good , clean value in Long Island.”

Clean, updated property. Good value for central Long Island. Very conveniennt to regional attractions and shopping. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

I was tremendously impressed with the quiteness of the hotel. The neighborhood was a wonderful addition. Everything you needed was within walking distance! What a coup1
