“Excellent conference venue but poor in other areas.”

Food and arrangements for a conference are excellent so I have no complaints on that. Problem areas: There is no one to handle any luggage that you bring and the hotel allows vendors to sell from their rooms. In this case, Gold & Silver estate purchases. They were extremely noisy at all hours so getting sleep was a problem. Hotel did not manage the noise or the vendors appropriately. Bathroom ceiling flooded but we were moved to another room, this is an older and re-furbed hotel.

“"Five in a room"”

Great location. Good weekend rate. Very satisfying modest brunch buffet. Pool and workout facilities above average. Some distance to most offsite restaurants. Very well kept grounds. Tennis courts (2) a plus to the stay. Some amenities (tv) a little dated. A solid 4 star experience. My seven year old wants to have her wedding there!! RTD

“Very good experience”

Attractive, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained hotel. The bathroom floor and shower curtain in our room could have been cleaner, but otherwise we had no complaints during our short stay.

Area recommendations

Stony Brook, Northport, and Port Jefferson are nice areas that are 20-30 minutes away by car.

“Very convenient”

Dirty hallway, stains on carpets and only 1 working elevator for the hotel.

“Not impressed, hospitality comes first!”

It just didn't feel welcoming...... Also, the appetizers we ordered for about ten bucks looked like some thing I could have made at home.
